Me too for fun. I am still playing. It's really easy to get injuries and they hurt. So I would not call them winees. May be some is acting but most is not and some have to get surgeries.
My point. :)
some of the flops during the world cup though only risk hurting themselves by getting pimp slapped by their acting coach if they got the fall down technique wrong.Quote:

go down... go dooown.
Brazil won 3-0 against Ghana. Although the scoreling suggests otherwise the game was quite close - Ghana muffed quite a few chances in the frist half after Ronaldo had put the Brazilians ahead in the opening minutes. The 2nd goal was offside.
France beat Spain 3-1
Henry was shameful y'day - holding his face for a shoulder tackle by Puyol and worst was the goal from that resulting freekick to rub salt into the Spanish wounds. Spain palyed well as always but their jinx in teh World cup continues.
Brazil - France will be great. Just like the final match in -98. And I'm also looking forward to Germany - Argentina on saturday. I think that Germany will win the match, but Argentina have played well so far...
AAAAAlemannnnia!!!!!
I seriously almost sang aloud today Deutschland Uber alles... oops.
Where are the underdogs this year?
Does anybody know why the Argentina players attacked Oliver Bierhoff and Jürgen Klinsmann after the match?
Who wouldn't?
Did you know that in the game Germany:Argentinia before the game one german and one argentinian player gave a speech about racism?
I think that was a great idea.
Yeah. Let's hope people listen to what they say.
Maybe they should have given a speech about diving....
Well done Portugal... you sissy drama queens.
*angry*
uhoh, it was pretty pathethic after both Beckham and Rooney went out.
Thing is England sorta gave up after that, you could see them die.
They played like a bunch of women.
A bit sad that England lost. Just like in the European Championship 2 years ago...
Well I dont know why I was holding my breath seeing as how they've NEVER won a a penalty kick off.
Ugh.
oh well. Next time lads.
Bwahahahaa, Portugal avenged Ecuador :) well done, though it's amazing Portugal couldn't score a goal during the game. It was a bad game, neither of them deserve to go to the next round.
Portugal deserve oscars rather than to win the match.
There really needs to be something done about diving (as well as the horrible refereeing). It's quite simple, officials should scrutinise a match afterwards and any players seen taking a deliberate dive (it's obvious in replays) should be banned for several matches. There needs to be a deterrent, dives have already been rewarded with several match winning opportunities, like Italy's win over Australia, and players won't stop unless there are consequences.
The way I see it Portugal is screwed anyway, half of thier team have been carded, they're down to thier replacement players...
Thier next game should be a damned good laugh.
And Rooney missed both his legs.
We were cheated out by a diving Italian cheat and a **** ref.Quote:

yeah
England just got hurt
I wanted to see Brazil to move on, but France definitely diserves it more.
I was born and raised in Dortmund (sigh), want to go back to Germany.Quote:

True, the refereeing has been horrible in this tournament, they need to do something to at least make it consistent. The ref in the England match kept watching the Portuguese take dives but did nothing about it, did nothing to discourage it, while other referees had been handing out yellow cards for dives.Quote:

France beat Brazil, which I think is great. Brazil haven't played well this World Championship. I think France will meet Germany in the final match!
I thought Zidane gave a master class last night. His touch, balance and vision were extraordinary. It would be great for him to win it again before he retires.
England had the chances to win, both Lennon and Lampard had good chances, but we're just not good enough - very good players, but an average team.
Exactly. Until something is done about the state of the game, I won't be watching any more football any time soon.Quote:

They cheat and dive like no tomorrow and then complain when the ball is cleared because a player is "injured" and they don't get the ball back. Double standards anyone?
Portugal don't deserve to go any further.
- Yes too bad for the Socceroos.Quote:

Worse still Italy are in the semis now. Hope they lose to the Germans now.
Brazil were a big disappointment against the French. The coach must be nuts to play Ronaldinho upfront with Ronaldo. Ronaldinho noted for his defence splitting passes was a standerby upfront. France dominated the midfield with Zidane marshalling the forces. Robinho the man in form was got 10 minutes from time but it was too late.
Sad to see the best team of the tournament Argentina go out on penalties against the Germans. Leading 1-0 till the last 10 minutes the coach removed Riquelme to strengten his defence and paid dearly when the Germans equalized.
Right - I need some help here... I friend of mine from Portugal is denying that there's been any diving from Portugal in the world cup.. Does anyone know anywhere with some footage of one of Portugals many dives so far... Against Holland, Against England.. whatever...?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW7J0OIXCrov - his foot doesn't even touch Deco.
The Italians are the worst though, this video is hilarious and on the money, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBP67cehL_M
OMG possibly the best match i have seen, AMAZING
wanted germany to win tho
Agree to both, but that's probably life.Quote:

We had a lightning storm here and the friggin cable went out in overtime so I missed everything, I am so annoyed. Does anyone have a link to where I can see some footage of the last two goals?
