Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima received an engagement ring Thursday night – her birthday – from basketball star Marko Jaric, his rep tells PEOPLE.
"He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn't be more in love," says publicist James Weir.
Lima, who turned 27 on Thursday, and Jaric, 29, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, have been dating for about nine months.
just wait until I finish my fansite 'the awesome shrine of adri limi lovi lovi' and you'll see how she'll fall in love with me and lick my ba...i mean like my flash animations.
Suicide watch for Argo commences now...
suicide is a sin, God wouldn't like that.
Why do you believe that the picture is of something real?Quote:

lol. I was seriously waiting on that picture to show up.
I think you're onto my line of reasoning here. :)
Though, I wish that my point could be made somehow with a picture like Argo has been posting.
Well... it could.Quote:

Disagreeing isn't disrespectful, your tone throughout this thread, and referring to books of faith as fairy tales is. You can disagree, not believe, but still be respectful.Quote:

You can have faith, or not have faith, accept that there are things in the world that conflict with your beliefs, and study them.
Whether you're a Muslim, Jew, Atheist, Agnostic, Hindu, Buddhist or Shinto, at the end of the day we're stuck on this rock together and need to make the best of it. Acting like a jerk and antagonizing people doesn't solve anything.
You are one sick puppy.Quote:

Respected Sir,
I can not believe in God if the reason for such strong beliefs are only the books. I cant find anything genuine except beliefs. Belief's are only assumptions.
Yours Sincerely
Deepak
Respected Sir, I dont need an answer from books that you think will surely fail, but from your heart Just tell me:Quote:

You do all the good things in the world and you don't believe in god, so you think its a sin and you will go to hell? If God was someone like that who never gives you ticket to heaven just because you dont believe in him, he can not be 'God'.
Yes sir.Quote:

Thank you for your kind words of wisdom.Quote:

I read the whole thing, not just looking into that picture. Also i seen it in action in NGC. What more do you need - to believeQuote:
Why do you believe that the picture is of something real?
LOL (sorry)Quote:

I'm asking you a question. Please answer.
Again, why do you believe that the NGC is not a fairy tale?
honey, first tell me are you kidding me with that sorta question? :D
No. It is a serious question. One that I would think should be easy for you to answer since you so freely question the beliefs of others.
Please answer, cup-cake.
A lion hunting down a zebra can not be unreal. So it can not be a fairy tale.
Agree?
Why do you think it is real? What is your basis for that belief? You read it in a book?
NO!! To me "Seeing is believing". For you "Reading is believing".
You really don't know anything about what I believe.
Why do you ask questions and then have such difficulty answering simple questions yourself? Are you insecure about your beliefs?
Again, why do you think the NGC is not a fairy tale? Because you have seen videos? Do you believe that all videos are real?
What is NGC?
National Geographic Channel
lol, me or you?Quote:

you asked me why i believe in NGC, i told you lion hunting down zebra is for real anyone will believe who see it, but you dont seem to.
Ok so you think lion hunting down zebra is a fairy tale? Good.Quote:

No. You are making the mistake of thinking that, because I question one of your beliefs, that I don't share that belief. Actually, you have made that mistake repeatedly in this thread with just about every person that has responded to you.Quote:

This is almost like my good friend who insists that God doesn't exist and wants somebody to prove to her that she should believe in God with some physical evidence.
I didn't even try. I just said "You'll believe for your own reasons. If they're physical, then one day you'll see what you need to see. Otherwise, you'll continue to not believe. Either way, why I believe will not be sufficient for you in any way."
This is what I'd say to you, Deepakflash. Stop trying to look for physical proof to be given to you. It won't happen.
ok Gerbs, i get your point.
If not a physical proof, then alteast is there something else that could be as convincing as a phyical proof? Something that is easy to digest. Something that doesn't keep you guessing and assuming.
Easy. Either you've allowed yourself to believe... or you don't. Convincing yourself to believe is basically - and I can't believe I'm saying this - if you're willing to accept something you cannot prove 100%.
I believe in e=mc2. I don't have the math prowess to prove it. Yet, I believe in it. Earlier this month, some computers proved it to a subatomic level. In time, I got the proof that I may/may not have wanted; however I had faith before proof.
Read PAlexC's post about faith. I seriously can't say much more than he has about that subject. Either you have it in you to believe, or you don't. It's ok, I'm not going to convince you using the same things that made me convinced a long time ago. You want to disprove that God exists because of the bad things that go on around you.
Dude, in the Bible... people were gutted while strung up on a wooden cross with nails. If you read it, there's people being turned to salt, covered in boils, lost their first born son, got hit with a plague of fleas which came after the locusts, got swallowed by a whale, told to sacrifice their son... hit in the head with a rock or rocks... and yet people still follow the Bible.
It shows you that the world isn't perfect. The afterlife is supposed to be better. We can't prove it. People that have "come back" from it, described being tranquil. Can't lie... to me, that's a ton better than what I have right now. But if you don't believe, that's cool.
Faith is your issue. Not having it isn't a bad thing. Just don't knock those that might have it.
Why do you believe those videos are real?Quote:

How about this one? Do you believe in UFOs, now that you have seen one in action?

^ In such a case, I would make use of one more tool "common sense".
My eyes sends the visual to my "common sense", my common sense scans through it and rejects if the result is "undefined"
