I heartily agree, it wouldn't make much difference at all. What would be an issue is that it sets precedence for extensions. That means that in Round 4, people may need a 2 day extension, or 3, and then this really does become May madness.Quote:

Well I have finally just made a start. But I should get something in. It's a shame if people don't manage to submit, or don't have enough time. But I think the deadlines need to be adhered to otherwise would could find ourselves on a slippery slope of retardation.
My biggest thing is I don't think it would be fair for the people that busted their butts to get it in on time. Everyone here has stuff going on so...
both ctranter and jwin are dead on - the deadline needs to stand.
we could all use a little extra time to nit-pixel, but deadlines are a part of life.
I might be changing my mind about that in a few hours though :p

Hey I submitted! So hypothetically speaking; out of observing my image over and over I want to change something.... shouldn't I deserve the extra day and resubmit... given that the extension were to fall through. I have a lot of work too, actually I have two projects I'm freelancing due this moths' end, as-well as my work that sometimes I have to take home with me.
On the reals though, rules need to be respected... We all have things to do... places to be and hot dates to see... but...
