Hey I got the book with that little imp fairy dude. I always loved that one. Thought about getting him as a tat. Nice image. That kids face has a sort of phantom of the opera feel to it.
1st bite, you just killed it man. wonderful palette and composition, not to mention a unique use of the previous image. you've just given me a fresh breath of inspiration brother.

pea3698 i got that imp as one of a set of PS brushes, if you want them send me your email address in pm and i send it over ;) I think i remember the imp from a set of Trump cards as a kid, not sure though but i remember it from years back.
the kids face was a weird call for me as I'm not usually a sketcher, my usual pencil skills often only go as far as stickmen :p , but my new Wacom A3 wide definitely makes life a little easier and i didn't use the eraser tool once :yikes:
