I'm not sure what's wrong, I've been having some problems opening .swf files, so I think It's on my side. Im going to reinstall flash soon... The tut will be on my website whenever I get around to making it. Definatly by the end of summer, i hope.Quote:

Im curious about how you do your pictures. I think they are really amazing!! Is it some sort of filter you developped, or just custom brushes?

For the flower one, flash can't do it alone. For it I used a bit of java in the proce55ing program, a tecnique taught to me by Arse. Your in luck too, because I have already put together a small verion for a guy at ultrashock that you can downoad here. I changed Arse's version a bit to prevent dealing with url encoding when loading the text. Also for the text draw thing, you can find a tutorial a few posts back. I'll be gone next week on spring break so don't expect any replies untill the following Monday. Let me know if it works or if you have any troubles with it. Happy flashing ;).Quote:

thanks mag, glad you like em! :) yeah the girl gave me some stress while making her, mostly proportions. but I foudn out how to avoid those problems after I made this (here's how: draw the face looking at it right side up, not from an angle). :)

feel kinda bad about that one because it was scaled incorectly when its pic was taken and so yeeeah. had to do some photoshop perspectiving on it so it's not "pure" meaning directly from the original photo, but was tampered with to some degree, bu yeah... didn't wanna scan pastels. hehe!
thanks for your comments, yeah life drawing is fun taught me to draw alot faster as well which is always a bonus.

Hi, I've just recently gotten a Wacom tablet, which I love. For months I've been too busy to really do any art, but this lets me do art during quick breaks at my computer. Here's my best one so far; I sketch 'em on a transparent layer, and then colour them in on the background layer.
Oh, the symbols don't mean anything, they're just semi-random scribbles.

Mags, thats a pretty cool pic dude! Few things, his outline is a little pixilated in parts and the horn in the background (which is really cool btw) doesn't look in the background. Bar that I really like it :)
I've actually done a couple of sketches that I was going to post but my server is playing up so I'll have to do it another time. :)
thanks olly ,waoo olly very perceptive :) that horn in the background was added just for mood as for the pixelated parts i dont really know how to fix it perhaps somebody might suggest something ?? i use photoshop 7 by the way , maybe its the resolution?Quote:
