Very nice site, but that border is very useless. I think it looks nice, just seems like an extreme amount of wasted space.
Why waste all that space then use tiny fonts. I dont get it.

I noticed that we had gotten a a few questions regarding the anti zoom on the flashlevel website. So I thought that I would make a serious post and answer your qestion.
First off. How we prevented the zoom function in the .swf file. As most of you know, its a easy way to hide the zoom function in .swf.
The most common way is to set the <param name=menu value=false> in the object tag and menu=false in the embed tag on the .html document where the .swf file are shown.
But there are some side effects with that method.
As I could read of previous posted threads I noticed links that aimed directly to the .swf file like (http://www.flashlevel.com/index.swf),
and viewing the website that way enables the zoom function beacuse it dosent run from the .html file.
So. To solve that issue with zooming function appears when not run in the .html document, we just added the simple line
Stage.showMenu=false;
Put it in your .swf and try to right klick. All options are suddenly gone. Remember, only works in flashmx.
Still. We wanted to go a step further, to prevent browsing .swf files att all, beacuse we like the set the rules on how our presentations are viewed.
We solved that issue with the function "FlashVars", basicly. You add a variable in the object and embed tag inside the .html ducoment that puts the variable inside flash,
when the .swf file starts it checks if the variable is there.
After that its a piece of cake to build a script that checks if the variable are inside the .swf, if it is. then it will start playing the .swf
, else it unloads the whole _level0, sets _visivle=false and uses a getURL command to direct the visitor to our main site.

More interrested in how you guys made that roll over effect... not the ENTIRE process.. i am sure you guys like to have some secrets, but i am questioning the use of Photoshop on that plasma effect. Hard to check when i can`t zoom but my eyes are good ;)
