@jonathanasdf, your game is great. I like the cartoonish style.
My game turned out a bit buggy in the end. I see what you mean with the bullets, I forgot to move them underneath the mask.

When I finished pong, I also went up to present and said: "I just stated this 20min ago". In the end there weren't any bugs.
But I didn't bother to submit it afterwards,
since I just did it for fun. Everyone else was using XNA anyways.
I bugged a friend for some last minute graphics. It was going to be paint style before :P
Yep, I was really inspired by Geometry Wars: Galaxies for the DS. Sadly, there are no new enemies in the current version, as I didn't have the time to do it (but I will keep working on it anyway, so don't worry!).Quote:

FINALLY
Use WASD to move the guy. Click to shoot, and aim with the mouse.
Zombies will break through barriers after a while, go near the barriers and hold space to repair them.
...no point to it yet...also, you'll get a better gun after a certain number of kills...there are only 3 guns, though I can add more really easily...

Oh, and I can't make any graphics anywhere. Even in flash/mspaint I can't make good graphics, so no need to even mention PS or Gimp or Fireworks. The entire game: the only graphics truly made by me was the background. haha..
Pazil: Looking forwards to a version in the future with:
Bunker HP bar
Enemy HP bar
a better shotgun
a way to die
a minimap.
I like the game though.
^Im going to mention GIMP - it's free. I man, thats how I got a bit of skill (thats not seen anywhere in the current game, as I had no time for good graphics). Just practise on paper...without a good ref you are not going to make anything that looks good.
@Jonathan: Thanks man! I got rid of those problems now, thanks for pointing 'em out :) I couldn't play your game :( it seems it doesn't have a "stop()" but also when I moved around the frames nothing happened.
@Xploder: thanks :) your game is very good too :thumbsup: you've got to do great in a short time.
So bad you didn't submit your pong game, shure it'd win ;)
I'll check all the games further as I've just played them very quick and not played 'em all. Pseudobot, you're game's really cool too.
P.S.: just a question Pseudobot, do I have to upload the game as an attachment?

phobik what do you mean? Oh i forgot to mention you need FP10 for mine because I exported as FP10. brb reexporting for FP9

hmm pazil you die randomly? I've found that when the zombies get to me I don't die at all :O

And Johnathan, you are missing a stop(); function, right now it plays through the whole thing (I ave Flash Player 10 installed aswell)
Pazil. Major major bug.
Walk towards a corner. You go through the corner and end up outside. Not that that's bad or anything but its obviously unintended.
oh...I'll upload the working version then. I added effects, and music, and in all it feels ten times better now...
Yeah...I'm using a really quick but definitely not the best way of doing hitTests...
Also, the shotgun is worse then the machine gun. Trust me, I had it the other way around the other time, and you died really quick when you got the shotgun. The zombies get stronger and stronger, which is why a rate of fire gets more important.
and I also just fixed the major bug! Player can't go through walls...if you guys want me to, I can upload the even better version...

@other people: unless you actually have Adobe Flash CS4, then you'll need to open the .swf file with your web browser, which has the FP10 player installed. The FP10 player you download and install isn't for your computer, but it's a plugin in to your browser...Jonathanasdf's game worked perfectly for me in my browser.
@Jonathan: sorry, my bad, I tried it with my flash player (fp8), when I ran it on firefox (fp10) it did ok. I think you did great with your game, it's easy to handle and its addictive. Your graphics are not bad at all imo. Good game :thumbsup:
@Pazil: Your game is really cool too. I think you did a good job making something new from a classic way of shmup, I mean I never saw zombies trying to enter the building the way you did it. Good work!
