Listening to GirlTalk again. It just some fun music to listen too. Very ADD but it is fun to try and recognize all the samples he uses. I actually recognized a Aphex Twin song he used. His range of samples is crazy.

My friend showed me this kids music a week ago and it is really good. I actually met him last night. Pretty cool guy.

It is like a slow down and dirty dub step. The first track on the page The Set-up is my fav he has posted.

Yeah I guess he has a full cd he has made since all that stuff. I really want to get my hands on it.

All those on his myspace are his first tries ever at that type of music. Pretty good if you ask me for a first try...

I finally got around to listening to Kanye West new album. It is a toss up. Half of it is dribble and the other half is amazing.

The new South Park with him is great!

I'm going to see Bonnie Prince Billy in london on monday night so I've been listening to his new album alot. Also a band called the Heartless Bastards. If you like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs you should give them a listen.
If you want some heartbreaking blues try Mississippi John Hurts 'Today!' album, great songs, great guitar playing, great voice, great recording. One of my new favourite blues albums.

Listened to the new Dylan album today. Wasn't blown away but it's a solid album with what could be some great songs.
It'll need a few listens though.
I also picked up a limited Tom Waits 7" in London that has a recording from the show i was at last year. Been giving that a few spins.

You'd be proud Robb I actually dusted off my player and listened to some vinyls yesterday as I cleaned my room. Yeah I listened to all of the original Star Wars soundtrack. Amazing compositions.
