Thanks for the kind words, lefteye. Quite frankly, as soon as I put the image together I knew it would lose. I went for a really gritty look, and honestly, I didn't think that would fly around here. But it was either re-approach the concept the way I had first intended (which would have involved Illustrator primarily and been very different) or submit it, and concern myself with other pressing matters at hand.

Anywhoo, I'd like to get some battles going, but quite honestly, I need internet at home again first. Sneaking my submissions in during the workday just doesn't fly really. (for instance, right now it's my day off and I'm at the library with ten minutes left in my internet session... haha)

Don't let your loss discourage you, bud. I voted for you in the last round. I've really liked both your submissions so far. I think you've got a great style and I'd love to see you around the arena more often. :thumbsup:

Hypothetically, this round should be between 1 and 4 ranked seeds and 2 and 3 ranked seeds. The only pairing that has that is me vs. ctranter. After that, gerbick is the only other person left seeded 1-4.

That is impressive and I like seeing how mixed up everything is!

Thanks for the kind words, Rush. I'm actually not discouraged at all as I've got so much going on at the moment I kinda admitted to myself that I hadn't really had much intention of winning even before I submitted my piece (quite frankly, the piece didn't sit quite right with me, even, and so I didn't think it would be much of a success, but I was ok enough with it not to think it was any sort of embarassment to submit it :P) So yeah. I'll definately be around. I'd love to get some battles going. Again, though, constant internet availability is useful for this purpose. :smoov:

i voted for it, i had mentioned to someone what i would have done with each stock and with the birdhouse it def would have been a jetson's like houses in the sky.
