Wow that sword's pretty sweet! your shading techniques do make it looke 3D and real!! you keep getting better. :P
As for the skull... It was on a white piece of scratchboard, which I painted black with ink, then scratched through, tinted here adn there, painted some more, used inks, scratched, etc etc etc. I scratched down to the cardboard on some parts :yikes: but yeeeah... glad you guys like it :D

Mag, your textures keep getting better and better! I only have one major problem with your sea creature/fairy/water picture: thje rock on the right in the background is too flat looking! Maybe add some major shading at the bottom and that'll help bring it out more. :D
