Earthquake still a bit strong?
I started playing the game this Week and got instantly addicted.
I started with an Aether Deck and slowly changed it in an Rainbow Deck.
Im currently playing with an 60 card Deck, using every Element aktiv and
have 18 Quantum Pillars to run it.
Im able to win against all Decktyps quite constantly. Off course with a Deck
this big i sometimes get cards, i have no chance of winning with, but thats
ok with me. You can“t allways win.
Then i meet the Earthquake Deck.
I dont recall the Name of the Player, but he got 6 Earthquake, 6 Graboids,
Earthpillars and one or more Titanium Shields. And something to generate
6 Timequanta.
I had no chance against him.
I got a good start: 3 Quantum Pillars, and 2 Lightnings in my starthand.
Because he had an Earthmark, i only played 2 Quantum Pillars. -> They got
instantly destroyed.
Next turn he destroyed the single Pillar i held back too.
I got 3 more Quantum Pillars out, but they all where destroyed.
I managed to destroy 3 of his 6 Graboids the turn he evolved them into
Shriekers with 3 Lightningspells, i had, barley, enought Quanta because of
my Aether Mark.
I wasn't able to do anything against it, and i got exactly 18 Quantum from
my 6 Pillars.
Maybe my Deck is just too weak, or mono-element Decks aren't that bad off.
But i suggest to change Earthquake a little bit:
How about making it a Damage over Time effect?
For the casters next 3 rounds, 1 Pillar from the selected Stack will be
destroyed.
This way you won't loose all your Pillars at the same time and will still be able
to get at least a little bit Quanta to do something. And the caster wound
loose too much either: All the enemys Pillars get destroyed, it only takes
some more time.
Multiple Earthquakes could stack of course.
Okay. Phuu, wrote quite a story there.
Secound: Im trying to create a Entrophy Deck, and its doing quite well in
lvl 1 and 2.
Level 3 is still a bit shaky and lvl 4 is no option yet.
Here is the Deck:
2 Quantum Pillars -> Using of Mutant-Abilitys, Lycanthrope, Parallel Universe.
7 Enthropy Pillars -> Self explaining an Enthropy Deck i think.
2 Lycanthrope -> Used for Mutating or as constant Damagesource.
6 Mutate -> Creating of (hopeful) good creatures, or crippling of enemys
strong Monsters.
4 Photons -> Cheapest thing to Mutate
1 Purple Dragon -> Strong Summon in case there is enought Quantum.
3 Parallel Universe -> It was a bit to expensiv to change the Aether Mark,
and if you copy a Mutant, you get a stronger Mutant who maybe has an
even better Ability.
2 Chaos seeds -> For a bit Defense. In 9 of 10 tries they work properly.
3 Novas -> To speed things up and to fuel abilities more constant.
I'd like to get your oppinion and perhaps some suggestion for improvment.
Btw: Really a great game.
