i'm a fan. penguins are my team. but i like others aswell, mostly thanks to the star players. haha, i can remember i saw my first nhl game last year. a friend was nice enough to send me a tape with the pens vs toronto on it. i was sooooo amazed by the immense skills these guys have! you can't compare it to what we see here in the dutch league! it made me sure i really really really need to go to the states or canada once to see some real action!
Stars beat the Avs tonight 3-1 ... Belfour really came to the dance and did a great job - he made some monster saves.

I dunno..he's kinda a crybaby, but i have respect for him since he does have the most wins. I think he's coming to an end of his great career. It's sad, i'm willing to bet major $$ if Hasek wasn't stuck on teams that consistently rely on their goaltender, he would have that wins record.Quote:

He seems to be "losin' it" towards the end of the season, but give him credit, the Avs relied on him way to much the season--you would think they can still play a little D without Bourque, right?:D
You watching the NCAA game? Minn. and Maine tied 3-3 goin into OT, Minn. scored a goal with under a minute left to tie it...great game, on ESPN.:)

ESPN that piece of crap sports station <censored, censored, censored> ... <censored> The other night during the hockey game they were about 7 minutes into the first and ESPN started cutting away to other game highlights, etc ... they did it the entire game!

6-3 they beat Det. last night! Sure, Det. was resting some guys (the most important one being the Dominator) but still, Nabakov is the man, and the pull off a big win. If I had to pick a team to upset to the Cup, it would be SJ, they have so much depth--let's see what they can do come playoff time:D
