Just out of curiosity... how did all of you members who just registered find out about this tournament?
it's on the front page.
the new members though... we need to have some type of rule for no-shows. I suspect a lot of them will be no-shows.
If I'm wrong, prove me wrong. It's that simple.
noone answered my question though, do i get paired with pro? :D
depends on your seeding. But since the sign up isnt finished, the seeding hasnt been done yetQuote:

As for my participation in the contest, I wouldn't have become a member after all this time if I didn't intend to participate. I may stink at it - but it sounds like fun!
sign me up.
holy crap, I think we have enough for 2 divisions, avatars vs. no-avatars
hey I am definatly in this battle cause like battles are fun.
and you blazes816 well he told me about this battle and I signed up but I am going to be more active in this forum don't worry.
lol. I think that we'll need to PM all the newcomers about a week before we make the braket, just to make sure they will participate.Quote:

Get ready to start!
Still seven days for a turnaround right?
Just checking. Go driii! *pompoms*
I sent out a PM to everyone who has signed up. You must read it and respond to it in order to play. This is kind of like checking the box saying your 18 before.... well, nevermind, you get the idea. Just everyone read it!
Edit: If you signed up and did not get a PM, please contact me
5 days, check pms. ;)
Ok I think I get this tournament.
We get a photo right and we make a new one with the one you gave us.
Sorta Like photo editing right?
"For those who don't know what a photoshop battle is:
Two designers agree on canvas sizes and rules, then one designer will create an image usually in photoshop and post it for the other designer to add to or alter (usually keeping some part of the previous design) The second design is then posted for the first designers response.
Stock photographs are often used in battles along with some great fonts, quite often photoshop battles will develop a theme or story line as they progress, and some as well as being well designed can be quite comical."
alty, good description of the PSbattle. HOwever, March Madness is run a bit different. For those not aware of this competition, please read last years March Madness thread. Yes it's very very long, but should help you in figuring out how this all works.
I agree with lefteye. For anyone who has not been apart of this before, please read the thread for last years tournament (link) to get an understanding of how this all works. You can also take a look at one of the voting threads from last year (link) to see how people made images from the given stock images, to see how the voting works, and just to see how good of a job was done by the participants.
When you post "tonight" Dricciotti, can you post "in X hours from this post" so those of us in different time zones know when you are talking about... :)
Would love to take part again please.
