I know people will buy it edited etc but if I was a game company like Rockstar I don't think I would go through the trouble to censor my games. What exactly is cut out?
i think its safe to say that mario kart wii and GTA IV have killed the coffee lounge.
Was just watching a friend play Mario Kart. It is pretty good but nothing will beat the SNES and N64 versions. I really disliked the over the top cartoony gamecube version...
online play changes everything.
I'm waiting on results for a tournament, I whooped up on someone elses ghost time and got to smack down myFriendIsATaco last night. 'Course he returned the favor a few tracks later.
Adding turbos to trick jumps, motorcycles and a few half-pipe corners all seem pretty innovative to me. Mostly getting rid of snake-ability will keep this game fresh.
lol i dont know why they even bother i mean c'mon the game has a PG rating if not 18+ , i have issues with pointless censoring , it takes a big bite out of the way the game was meant to be played.

I wrote down your code but didn't add it yet. I'll do that in a bit.
You still haven't accepted my Wii friend code :p
Atm I'm staring out my window wondering wtf UPS with my GTA.
(Post number #84, jAQUAN.) :p
Just rented it. I have got about an hour or so in and now my room mate is playing. I don't think the driving is hard at all...
dude I actually thought that for a second. Naw I've got it now. I'm only about an hour in and still no gun. Looks like they are gonna unveil the story nice and gradually. If the dialog stays as good as it is now that is fine with me.Quote:

Bump the Brightness and Contrast up 2 (to the right) and the saturation up 3. This also worked for a buddy of mine who felt the same way (except he only put the saturation up 2). Play for an hour and see how it feels.
I don't have an HDTV yet. Think it will still make a difference?
Dunno. Try it for a bit and if it doesn't feel right, set it back to default.
Wasn't there an article or something about changing a setting in your PS3? Was it "Super White" to enhance the detail?
Yeah, that's mostly for HDTV/HDMI and/or YPbPr component based television connections that the super white made a different.
Wow. Thanks for the idea Pooon. Looks so much better.
sadly, I played Gta for an hour yesterday and mario kart for two.Quote:

Finally got my hands on GTA and well impressed so far. It's a bit slow getting in to the game but I've got all day tomorrow off work.
I hope it's not sunny tomorrow because I feel guilty sitting in a darkened room playing a game when it's a glorious bank holiday day outside. If that is the case then I suppose I can always cheer myself up by running over a few cops!
