Modern art does just equal things(mostly) that almost anyone could have thought of and actually done but no one has so whoever was first to show it off gets credit.
You can't look at a Dali and just say I could do that but if you go into a 100'x100' room and all there is inside is a blank sheet of paper I am pretty sure most anyone could do that. Not everyone could back up the theory and bull**** their way into the grants involved in doing it but...
