Just finished the second half of Deliverance. Wow that movie was a letdown. Everyone is always like "oh yeah have you ever seen deliverance- really messed up". Sadly Wrong Turn 1 & 2 were better then that.
There Will Be Blood is on the menu for tonight after work.
Finally saw Blood Diamond. Pretty good flick.
Watching Friday the 13th Part 4 now as I surf. Classic.

That scene in the beginning with the kid rockin out with the city guy was pretty classic. That kid reminded me of the kid from GUMMO.
just watched stand by me. it really still is an awesome movie. it doesnt lose any of its charm since when i saw it when i was younger.

yeah, looks like a good movie, though I don't think Kiefer S. is a good actor (though I still love 24).

Just watched spiderwick tonight. Thought I'd post here instead of the other thread. I too was pleasantly surprised. Some of the scenes would have scared me if I was a kid. Still fun. Made me feel jipped on my childhood though. All we got was neverending story and kids today get one of these per week.
Is anyone going to go see Disaster Movie? It has a good premise (a ton of disaters happen at once and try to twart movie heros from some goal). The Hancock and Sex and the City parts look funny.
That movie probably won't even be worth a rental. Epic Movie, Date Movie, Meet the Spartans, etc etc. They all have about 2 laughs each and only because they are SO stupid. I know for a fact I won't be going and seeing that in theater.
I did just watch the movie Shrooms last night. That deserves a post in the worst movie thread.

How about Tropic Thunder?
Tropic Thunder looks classic because they went ALL out on this one. They even made a spoof movie of the making of just like Heart of Darkness was to Apocalypse Now. I am not sure if both are going to theater though. Definitely a dvd box set I will be picking up. I have already read some of the details for the dvd release and the extras seem worth it.

Pineapple express looks laughable. I enjoy Seth Rogen so I am sure it will be decent.
Watch the new Lost Boys tonight. Definitely worthy of direct to dvd but really not that bad. Feldman was great if a little corny.
That looked just awful. Maybe I will give it another look and see if I wanna watch it. I'll have to get back in the mood and rewatch the first one.
