EDIT: i know he didn't directly mask the frog from teh previous image (which is usually preferred...) but i think it works
Nep, I think it's good that you didn't compromise the quality of your piece just to incorporate the exact frog pixels that are already at such a low resolution. (Oh no, you f'd up the game! :rolleyes: ) The frog you used is actually very similar looking in it's pose and angle. I would have loved to see those highlights a little whiter but overall, I get a strong, comprehensive feeling from this image.

creative attempt, but you broke the rules.
don't you think you could have done the same thing with the same sized canvas? then you wouldn't have to worry about the ghosting around all the edges of the PNG (which don't look very good). You might have wanted to PS out the Domino's logo from the ball, it kind of detracts from the image. I know that the previous volley is what's being shattered, but i just don't see a cohesiveness in this image to make me happy.

I agree that the idea is interesting but the actual image is lacking a few things. Besides breaking the size rule, which can be o.k. sometimes, it just seems like you didnt really do much on this image.
The shattered pieces have a white line around them. You could have avoided this by doing a JPEG image with a background color of #FFDB5A (FK yellow).
It is great to see that you are putting up stuff in this thread though! Keep it up :)
