France are doing well, they started poorly but have improved with every match. My money's on them now. The Italians are lucky to have come this far, and Portugal are depleted. Out of all of them I'd like to see Germany win I guess, but France is where the money is.

True, the refereeing has been horrible in this tournament, they need to do something to at least make it consistent. The ref in the England match kept watching the Portuguese take dives but did nothing about it, did nothing to discourage it, while other referees had been handing out yellow cards for dives.

FIFA need to get their act together big time.

Well. France and Portugal will meet then. Portugal's goalkeeper Ricardo was great with the penalty shots. He touched the ball every time, and saved most of them.
France beat Brazil, which I think is great. Brazil haven't played well this World Championship. I think France will meet Germany in the final match!

I thought Zidane gave a master class last night. His touch, balance and vision were extraordinary. It would be great for him to win it again before he retires.
England had the chances to win, both Lennon and Lampard had good chances, but we're just not good enough - very good players, but an average team.

Maybe the players should learn to respect themselves and the players they play with and against. They have no pride. Ronaldo is a disgrace, running in like that to get his club team mate sent off.

They cheat and dive like no tomorrow and then complain when the ball is cleared because a player is "injured" and they don't get the ball back. Double standards anyone?

Portugal don't deserve to go any further.

Worse still Italy are in the semis now. Hope they lose to the Germans now.

Brazil were a big disappointment against the French. The coach must be nuts to play Ronaldinho upfront with Ronaldo. Ronaldinho noted for his defence splitting passes was a standerby upfront. France dominated the midfield with Zidane marshalling the forces. Robinho the man in form was got 10 minutes from time but it was too late.

Sad to see the best team of the tournament Argentina go out on penalties against the Germans. Leading 1-0 till the last 10 minutes the coach removed Riquelme to strengten his defence and paid dearly when the Germans equalized.

Right - I need some help here... I friend of mine from Portugal is denying that there's been any diving from Portugal in the world cup.. Does anyone know anywhere with some footage of one of Portugals many dives so far... Against Holland, Against England.. whatever...?

We had a lightning storm here and the friggin cable went out in overtime so I missed everything, I am so annoyed. Does anyone have a link to where I can see some footage of the last two goals?
