No no no, that's what I meant. They have one day to let everyone know that they're still participating. They can have the three full days to work on a return, but it's stupid to not hear anything and waste two extra days.
We could even expediate the process:
Participart 1 takes 3 full days. On the second day of the first participant's 3 days, the second participant has to acknowledge that he / she will be begin their work on the fourth day. That way There's enough turn around time to get the next person ready.
