About to finish Dazed and Confused. My high school never did hazing thank god.
No hazing at my school either. But, besides that, that movie pretty much mirrors exactly my HS experience. Mostly keg parties in the woods or the "moon tower" equivalent. :)
Kind of borders on being something of a "chick-flick". But, I watched The Painted Veil last night and enjoyed it.
ok ok ok...enough is enough.Quote:

Phew! now i feel better.
About to finish as in I have already seen it a ton so I don't need to pay attention to the final scene on the football field and was coming here for suggestions of a NEW movie to watch.
You're becoming the FK grumpy old man.
This weekend was full of movies. I saw-
Pineapple Express 9/10
Gonzo 8/10
Assassination of Jesse James 6/10(I think I need to rewatch that)
The Orphanage - 7/10 was pretty messed up in some parts.
Evan Almighty - 5/10 it was funny for what it was but still pretty much crap.

I gotta see this.
That does look pretty funny. The new Jim Carey movie actually looks pretty decent too.
is it wrong of me to really really want to see the new the fast and the furious
I liked how controlled the pace was on Jesse James, but they coulda cut out a freakin hour and still had a decent film. Great wrap up though, kind of unexpected despite the full title of the movie.
I loved some of the similes, "You were as white as spit in a cotten field." "He knows me like the bible."
so i've only seen one or 2 episodes of the show as it can get real annoying real quick, but right now i'm watching the Spongebob Squarepants Movie on TV. This could honestly be one of the funniest kid's movies i've ever seen. Friggin' David Hasselhoff just came on screen and saved them, are you kidding me? :D
Pass whatever you have...
went to bablyon AD saturday night. Started off good, got a little wierd in the middle, ended abruptly as if an hour of plot had kinda just been erased.
i also watched sunshine last night. Pretty decent Sci-fi movie..
Did you really expect anything else from AD?
Based on the director and that Vin was going back to the genre that made him famous? Yes yes i did.
again the movie started fine, i hope the directors cut fills in some of the gaps
You're too nice. The movie is just stupid. Makes me wish I hadn't seen so many good movies, I might have liked it.Quote:

Deception: cool thriller
Der freie Wille: (german) that was a dark shocking and long movie
In Bruges: very very cool
Matando Cabos: (mexican) fun dark comedy
Memento: I never saw it before, and I wonder why. It was great.
Paraiso Travel: (colombian) very cool. It's about a couple of colombian illegal immigrants in New York
The Incredible Hulk: I never saw the previous one. I liked this one, though I hated Liv Tyler
Hank and Mike: awesome and fun independent movie
Insanitarium: Bad horror movie. Bad, awful.
Swordfish: bad movie, though Halle Berry's boobs make up for it
The Brothers Grimm: I just wanted to see it because Lena Headey is in it (I've been watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles and she's hot). It was not bad, but it's completelly forgetable.
The Host: I'm still not sure if I liked the movie or not...it's weird.
A lot like love: just one more romantic comedy I didn't like
Toi et moi: (french) watched it because Marion Cotillard (the actress from La Vie en Rose) is in it. It's a cute movie, and she's a good actress.
Mirrors: it was good to see Jack Bauer again, but the movie wasn't good. Though there's that scene of that girl getting killed in the bathroom....it was awesome.
The Ruins: bad horror movie
Caotica Ana: (spanish) very surreal and simply awesome
Next on my list:
Mary (french)
Vexille (japanese)
Funny games
The Edukators
Body Shots (just because of Amanda Peet)
Blade Runner (never seen it before)
Eyes wide shut
The Goddess of 1967
Tideland
jcvd looks suprisingly good.
sexdrive and role models look like movies that will make me laugh.
