Pineapple Express is one of the funniest movies from that crew. I am not sure if it is bad or good but I can relate to almost all the situations that they get in(besides the car chase) so it makes it that much funnier.

city of god....amazing.
sexdrive. very funny. other then seth green alot of people i havnt really seen before. good change from the normal judd aptow crew.
i picked up the fountain for just under $3 at target the other day. jesus that movie was a ****ing experience.
Woooo I have that, but have not watched. I shall tonight.
That is still on my list. He is an amazing director.
im not even entirely sure i understand everything that went on. it really is one of those movies that might require a few viewings.. or picking up the directors cut.
Yes from what I have read it is definitely a multi-view film.
I'm not so sure. I really liked it in the theater but watched it again on netflix and was underwhelmed. Still, some very cool plot lines.
Watching Sex Drive. Got the unrated version going. This is like a rough cut of the movie with with extra boobs. Weird.
Just saw Watchmen... Holy ****ing Hell.
I don't even know what to say.
.............................in a good way?
no spoilers. i havnt even read the book i want to go in blank slate.
I went in with a blank slate, and that's the last thing I'd want to ruin. Let's say it was phenomenal and it still has me thinking.
I think I will go see the movie on a clean slate as well before reading the book. I hear if you do it in that order you'll like it otherwise hate the changes they made.
Also read this is the biggest easter egg filled movie ever made. Like the watchmen book on a book shelf etc...
I'm going to avoid going during any time any talkative comic book nerd clan will be in the audience to not sit there and find a new, creative way to get on CNN.
Seriously, I want to see this movie, my expectations are ridiculously low for one reason - Alan Moore crams too much into his graphic novels (comics) for any movie to ever contain it all.
With that said... I did not enjoy Pineapple Express. Enjoyed Tropic Thunder. And finally have the fourth Futurama movie... so it's Futurama weekend here soon :)
For a packed, huge, opening show I was surprised by how respectful the crowd was. The only moment was during a major plot twist one of the characters looks perplexed, and in dead silence someone yelled "...OH ****!"
You're not in the South.
"GIT 'IM, GIT 'IM GUUD! WOOOOOOO!" is the ****ing norm.
great, now I have to avoid this thread until I've seen it.
Dumbledore dies 3 minutes in.
K I've seen it now. Carry on. :)
Going to see Last House on the Left tonight. I watched the original years ago and thought it was pretty brutal. I hope they don't water it down.
Wannabe, I just got a tip from a horror buddy to netflix "Let the Right One In". I haven't watched it yet but he says its reaaally good.
^ its not an english speaking film. but from what iv read its amazing.. Also its already being developed as a us remake.
I will add that to my list.
I actually don't mind subtitles. I only enjoy dubbed versions when they are Asian and I am looking for a laugh. Which I just have to suggest Hard Boiled with the English dubbed over for a good night. Hilarious. They literally have a scene that goes "Ra Ra Ra"
Just got back from Last House on the Left. We all actually got ID'ed, warned that the movie was very graphic and no refunds were allowed, and then at the actual theater door our tickets were verified.
Too be fair the the movie was ****ing BRUTAL. I really enjoyed it. It was finally a remake that did the original justice. It was a very good revenge movie too boot. It had some very touchy subject matter that was very graphic so I wouldn't recommend it to just any(a few people actually walked out) but anyone who like revenge/horror this is a must see.
Tonight... Stripes with Bill Murray. Then Repo Man...
I am officially taking one break tonight before I keel over from overworking.
watched stripes just the other day.
Has anyone watched Dear Zachary? I watched it the other night and highly recommend it to others.
Yes, we talked about it in the Documentary thread. I don't like to think about that movie. It's like losing the game when someone brings it up.
there is a 4th one? do they all die finally?
I'm quickly becoming convinced that you ^ are either a bot or a spammer.
a 4th what?
cant be saw because there are 5 of those.. well soon to be a 6th
three stooges would be something im curious to see how it turns out. hope it's not "three stooges go to Hollywood" type of plot
