I know you missed me.
Cap, if you quit the game because of EQ then just leave already, I don't think anybody here really cares.
All you are trying to do is make an ultimatum: Fix EQ or you lose me from playing your game. In all honesty I really don't think zanz cares if he loses one player or not.
Also I'm just curious. Now that most of the stuff at http://elementsthegame.com/development.html
has already been fulfilled, what is in development next??

Okay now moving on, a real forum would be neat. The development update will probably be in awhile. Because 1.1 wasnt implemented too long ago. Right now I mostly expect some tweaking of the upgrade system. Not necessarily limiting it though. As there just are some cards that should upgrade better. Also, I know I've said this before, but it would be nice to see more creatures with momentum.

Yeah there is a momentum card, but then it would take two cards to get a creature with momentum. And that is bad. A waste of a card. Why use two cards when you can use one? So, it would be nice to have more cards with momentum.
Also, eclipse plus vampire is just vicious. Swing for 12!

Well I want cards with momentum that are good. Also, vampire is rather annoying. If you cant kill your opponent before they get enough vampires going, you lose.

What did you upgrade in your mono-aether fake god killing deck first? towers? spiders? just curious, I just sold all my rare upgrades (except lobos, fahrenheit, and vamp dagger :) ) and am trying to build an aether deck that will be a little more consistent against the fake gods....
Firstly, many many thanks to Zanzarino, who's made a reality one of the things I've been looking forward to for about 12 years by now...
Now, on to the reason I've joined up - because I've a gentle suggestion that hopefully wouldn't be too tough to implement, but would hopefully enhance gameplay a bit.
In particular. Certain cards (although not many) require using generic quanta. The way the game deals with this presently is to choose a random colour and take it from that. This can be rather inconvenient. In particular if a card uses carefully hoarded quanta when useless varieties are available. Since colourless cards become less attractive, it also discourages extending the number of them, since they will be less often requested.
My suggestion? Allow the player to click on any of the quanta "stacks" to choose those from which the game would select (probably based on quantity) colourless mana. Selected stacks would be subtly highlighted, and could be clicked on again to deselect them.
This would have a particular bonus of maintaining game speed (which would be a major reason to avoid a dialogue asking which quanta to use for a colourless card), since once the types are selected, the game just does it's thing with those. But it also eliminates the inconvenience of losing quanta that matter, and consequently makes charging a non-specific colour for spells or abilities more attractive.
Well, I think it would be good, anyway :).

I would recommend upgrading the towers next. Technically its better than upgrading a shield. Upgrading a shield takes 1 cost off. Upgrading a tower means you have 1 more quantum. Thats the same as taking 1 cost off really. (Unless you take 1 cost off of an already upgraded shield). Only difference is its 1 more quantum to everything instead of 1 off of a specific thing.
Upgrading phase dragons is pretty stupid. I'd upgrade 1 or 2 but no more than that.
And I don't even have phase spiders so I wouldn't worry about those.
6 Dragons, 6 Shields, 2 P. Universe, Rest until 30 are my aether towers.
As for upgrading the parallel universe.. I happened to win both of mine off of Gemini so I never really gave it a thought as to when to upgrade then, after towers&shields I guess?

--Note: Don't even bother trying to bash how this deck is "bad" or how I could "improve" it. Yes I know how I could improve it. But this deck is made out of ONLY cards I won. (Except for empathies, pillars, hourglasses, and a FFQ I think? And yes, Chaos Lord can give quantom towers)
