Great work, realy cool. luvin' it.
neps, that's beautiful. I dig it :). SOmehow the colors between the purple and green are throwing me off though. Dunno if it's my monitor or what, but they seem to clash a bit. Other than that, great balance, great use of brushes and a nice pretty thing to look at.
Sweet!
Yeah that's a gorgeous image. Love the balance of elements. Colours work for me and the text is nicely done.
Content content content. This is what I like to see.
Juju: I like what you've done with the with the shattering concept. The hammer seems to have a lot of weight behind it. Great movement in the background. Conceptually, I know it has something to do with Flash and shattering, but I can't really 'piece' it together *snicker*. I'd like to see a more intricate or interesting shattering pattern on the windows but it works.
random: (On the maple/oak leaf composition.) I'd like to see more midtones because the image looks too dark to me. My eyes are sort of straining to see the texture behind the leaves and on the frame. The saturation is a bit too much for me, I would personally tone that down a bit. More than anything, the composition is very simple, sort of like a point-and-click family photo where the focus is in the center of the frame, or in this case, the three leaves are dispersed evenly and centered. I think it'd be more interesting if they were different sizes and perhaps one was half way off the image. I can look at the image for about ten seconds before I feel I've seen everything there is to see. I'm sorry but I'm not too happy with it, I think you could have done much better.
wbwd: I think your composition is fabulous. I wish the text would come through more clearly but I love what you have created with vectorized shapes on the right which seemed to be representative of digital textbased characters and how they create a wonderful design with the dark mountain background and the whirling leaves. There's so much movement going on in that area and it's all being contained by the camera men on the left. Good work.
Nep: You really have a knack for blending different images into a solid concept. The balance is absolutely wonderful, you held it together in the transition on the right side with the seahorse looking thing and the crazy cellular looking stuffamajigs as well as the binary and the city scape. I'm not digging that seam though, about 150 pixels from the right spanning completely up and down the image. I feel like the image would flow better and I like the tension but I feel it's too much and destroys a potentially awesome transition. Great work this is. Impress me everytime you do.
random: I'm so digging this. It's got a really techno zen feel or sumthin. I would have said something about too much filtering if you hadn't really pushed that pixelly feel and I'm glad you did. IMO, the butterfly and the tiger look like seperate layers of the entire composition as opposed to a natural integration to the entire piece and to rectify this I would lower the opacity of the blur effect around each the two creatures. Just enough to bring out the edges a little more while still softening the feel of them.
Nepzap i love the way you tied everything together in your image.
Thanks for your input,Quote:

It was a quick one, and a step towards me minimalizing the amount-o-stuff that i have been packing into my pics.
This is one of my favorite images that i have done.Quote:

I'll do what you have suggested with the blur/shadow in this one.
Thanks again.

I also forgot to mention the great work on nepzaps last image, the blue and white really balance out the image nicely, and the text looks very professional.
