Really??? I have NS7...I never tried the email part.
I was thinking about trying to write a "plugin" for it (even though OE6 has no real plugin support).
Okay...for some reason I didn't install the email part of NS7. Does it just have a drop down menu, or will it convert text (eg :),;),:D) to the appropriate image?

Download 7.01 then- It's the latest version.
Drop downs. But NS7 does not ignore XUL so you could write a whatever you want for it. The Book for XUL is also on the OPL so it is available for free here http://books.mozdev.org/chapters/ and they will even give you free space here http://www.mozdev.org/ .
