MTV is the downfall of civilization :)
The music on MTV sucks, so does their program schema, and everything they stand for.
Don't rely on MTV for anything.
There is too much good music out there that nobody knows about, and MTV just puts s**t, literaly, on a platter for people who are too lazy to discover.
So, ditch you TV. Get a faster computer or something and play with Flash.
If you want music, go down to your local vinyl store, get some names, and download their music.
I grew up watching MTV from when it first started... it got bought out.

They've had their good spots, with shows like 120 minutes, some seasons of The Real World, every episode of Jackass, and, uh, that's all I can think of. Of course I have to give them credit for being a place to watch videos, but only refferring to the cool ones by decent bands. Various Smashing Pumpkins videos and one Prodigy video come to mind.
Now it's just a collection of hidious teen pop and substancless shows. Basically, an in your face nightmare.
