any one had any luck with the .tk domain registration? i get an error that says the server cannot be reached or page not found in the secont step where it asks you to enter the url which the domain will redirect to! :mad: i am linking to a simple page for now on brinkster.com :confused:
did it worked for anyone?

Marcus....worked for me, i didn't post the site yet, but it registered just fine.
I think its some trouble tying the domainname up to different top domains. .com is ok but .net doesent work

Yeah, I get that message when I try to sign up for one with my Brinkster.com account too. But, when I type in another address, it would work. Odd.
what free hosting service are you using? Maybe it has some problem with that--i'm currently using tripod, and have had no problems.

i have found that getting it to re direct to brinkster always fails :(
marcus, give http://www.united.net.kg a shot, though it will take a number of days for it to get fully running - theres alot more going for it than brinkster however
im vexed at the fact they want a donation for the registration of http://www.doug.tk :mad:

You cant. There are only certian domains that they let people use. .jeff is not one of them.

They only allow 15 MB of space and 100 MB of bandwidth a month :(
I got a .TK address and mine works fine. It's a little slow - but it works fine.
hmmm... worked fine for me.
too bad my web host is being flaky right now :mad:
