I just started in flash and I was going through a search looking for open source files and stumbled up on flashkit.... Haven't left since! :D
I was working on a Flash 4 project - first time I ever opened Flash - and I had a question... ended up finding out about Swish, which lead me to ask questions that were never answered.
nonetheless, Livemotion, Vecta3D, Swift3D, and Flash 5 came out, and I stayed around.
And even learned by doing Flashkit's tutorials and bothering a lot of people. I still bother people. ;)
:) it is fun bothering people on FK :pQuote:

I think I found out about FK in the back of my "Flash 5 f/x and design" book where they had links to helpfule sites...they never said anything about fun sites tho!
About two years ago pretty much, can't remember how I came across it. I think I was searching for "flash tutorials" or "flash information" on yahoo.

My flash instructor told us about it. lol i'm glad it was one of the times that I actually listened to the man. LOL jk Great teacher, but I don't think that many others listened cause well none are here lol.
The founder of Flashkit, Mark Fennell has contacted me in the beginning of it . I still don't know how he knew me, maybe from the flashers.net board. Anyway, saw the whole process from a small site to the one Flash resource. :D

I think the very first flash I had was Flash3 and I thought I'd learn off a book. Well the book was crap but in the back it had a summary of helpful links. Flashkit was one of them...and was much more worth than the whole book.
swish provided me with the link to flashkit.com . and david redirected one of my post to CL so that i can get help and nasty :D from then i only liv in CL :D
I was doing a demo and a friend told me he had visited Flashkit. gave me the URL... I have been here ever since... :) He does not even use FK anymore. in fact. do not think he has even ventured into the boards :)
