everyone, i want to post another update of my rocky racoon game before going in holidays (tomorrow). but i really need a serious translator from french to english. of course i can do it myself, but...^^ i expect a perfect translation.
if someone is interested, please manifest...
german, italian or so are welcome too. thanks ^^

i could also help you with english but i speak english as a second language, sometimes i make silly mistakes but i spell better than Mad-Sci :D

let me explain: there's only something like 30 sentences for the moment, and not all are actually used.
the red part is the array, so the text to be translated is the black one (hope you understand my poor english). be carefull: the translated sentences may be shorter than the original french ones, it's not a problem. but really, don't do longer sentences, or the text may become bigger than the dialog box...
anyway, thanks a lot for your help, it must be done in no time ^^

Hi marmotte (awsome name, the animal right?)!
Anyways, this is a bit off topic, but, in your game, did you make the trees in the same MC as the flowers, and use blank lines and fills in the "hit" mc? Just want to know how you made the raccon go behind the tree.
If you can't find any other french to english transaltor, I could do it (i lived in france for 6 years, then moved to california where i am now at the wonderfull age of 14).

the english in the game seems to be ok so far, havent really played it too much .. but there seems to be a few things off (letter-box is more commonly called a mailbox, etc)
dunno if it was someone else translating or what, but if you can upload the english you have so far like you have with the french, i can try to fix little things so it sounds more like it was in english originally

DethDesign: well yes, if you can translate perfectly from french to english, then future translations (english to german) will be easier for you all...
i haven't recieved any translation back for the moment, so i cannot put the new version of my game for now (i'm sure you don't want a french only game ^^)
by the way, yes, marmotte is a name of an animal that love sleeping (i think it's called marmot in english?)
my game is organised like that:
1) graphics and sprites are attached in a specific MC
2) graphics that are always in front of the racoon (up part of the trees for example) are attached in another MC, that is situated up the first one.

Thanks for the info marmotte (i lots of 7 year old memories from that animal... lol). Anyways, I will go ahead and translate the info right now if you want.. My internet is bieng quite stuborn, so, I won't be posting often, (well, I am calling the ISP today).

there are like 4 lines I did not translate (if my sister was here, she could do it, but I can't read some of the words/missunderstand in those lines).

After you put the new version up, I can get the words to fit the game more. Once I see where they are in the game, and stuff, I can get it to seem more, more, just better.
I fixed some things, made it fit better in the game.

i can open the .txt file, but not the .as file... some sentences are not translated, so i was looking with altavista ^^
i'm trying to translate "peluche", and it says "become fluffy"...? never heard that word

peluche ? i think it means "peloso" in italian so in english will be hairy or fur
i ll translate tha as this weekend marmotte hope yuo can wait :D

ziplockkitty: sometimes that kind of translators create funny sentences ^^ they more likely do word/word translation instead of correct sentences...
magnetos: peluche = plush. i have an english version, although it's maybe not perfect...

because in italian its a too long word "la cassetta delle letter"
besides if you have a pc you must know what a mailbox is
