I can't believe it was 12 months ago that Mark was banning my IP address for posting lewd remarks on his new board :)

Awesome! Congratulations to everyone who has helped it along through the past year.
Since just June when I first started coming here it's gone from under 10,000 to over 40,000. That in itself is just remarkable.
To the crew down there in Australia, great job, and to Mark: Thanks for creating a place as amazing and beneficial as this is. As I've said before, you're an inspiration, a wonderful example of a person who took a an idea and ran with it. I imagine you're quite proud of this moment, as well you should be.

The phenomenal growth at FK speaks for itself. If it wasn't great, it would be so popular.
When I first joined and posted a site check in June, there were 6300 members. Even so, I had posted the same site check on three other sites - FK came through with about 8 replies in the first couple hours. I've been hanging around here ever since.
You've fostered an atmosphere that really achieves that sense of 'community' that is such a desirable trait for a website.
