Gel definitely, I also figured it was worth spending a couple of quid on a Gilette Mach 3 razor too :)

Had to agree though
if your skin is wet enough, leaving gel there for a couple of seconds, makes your skin a lot smoother than what Foam can give you.
Only thing I'm still using my Gilette Sensor Excel 2 razors, What next, five razors?? then 10 razors?? then what sand paper??it's all part of the plan, if Only I can find one of the good old, Laurel and Hardey style, the one that uses this long leather strap to sharpen it :D :p
I used to shave with foam but I got a nice electric, self cleaning Braun shaver. This thing is the bomb! It cleans itself, and you can shave anywhere. It has a nice close shave too. Love this thing. Using it right now as a matter of fact. ;)

also, i use neither. just water in the shower works fine
Mach 3's a good shave but I prefer the Sensor Excel.
Anyway, doesn't gel turn into foam with you rub with your hands?
I dry shave.
gel is great for pranks.

I usually shave most days but sometimes I just leave it for a couple of weeks, grow a rubbish beard then it gets too itchy and shave again :p

gel definitely and superdrug [something] -- I found it sharper and smoother than mach3.
