OK, it's finally here. Hulk was released today, and it's getting rave reviews. Anybody who plans on seeing the film, please let us know your expectations. If you've seen it, post a small review. Be honest!
I plan on seeing the film Friday night, but if I don't get around to it, most certainly Saturday.
wow there was the part where he smashed his fist in the ground and caused a mini earthqauke and leveled a building.
Then there was a part in the very end where the girl showes her hand and green blood flows through it.
And then there was this part where he goess grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Yeah the 3D looks awesome. The guy who modeleed Hulk must've gotten one pretty penny. Didnt see it yet, dont know if ill be seeing it anytime soon, either.

there is actually a book (I forget who wrote it) where you can read it all backwards, and it will still say the same thing, and it actually makes sense. not just some random backwards words like 'radar' put together, either.

I just wish they hadn't made his skin that bright green. In the X-men movies they were smart and replaced the bright yellow jumpsuits with cool black ones. The hulk people should have wised up too because everytime I look at him in the trailors he just looks like a drawing in a comic cut and pasted into the real world. I'm sorry. I'm sorry but I can't take the movie seriously when the main character looks like he has plastic green skin. Also, he's very shiny. What's up with that.
considering how awful the preview opinions were (in forums like this from watching the trailers etc) it's amazing, I haven't heard a single bad thing about it, hopefully they've really pulled it out of the bag.
it does look like it well planed out and thought about (unlike spiderman)
but the film im waiting for is THUNDERBIRDS :D
just got back from it, worst movie I have seen in a LONG time
bad acting, bad writing, bad movie
it's fun. again, another fortune to be made (just in muuurchendiiizinnggg). it's another one to see just for the fx. i'm kind of upset Ang Lee directed it. obviously he's thinking about the payoff. he's moved out of my 'good director's list'. the most eye candy part for me was the fight with the mutant dogs. not a film for the 'thinking' audience at all.

me being an editor, i couldn't but help be distracted (still) about the stooped 'wiping' and 'matting' transitions throughout the film. not sure of the purpose or motivation at all???? maybe the editor received way to much money and felt like using his effects to better spend his time??? or the director making fun of the audience, laughing to the bank??? of the visual fx personel having to much control??? not well balanced....
kelly2shirts..perhaps to capture a feel of a comic book..cause thats what i saw when i saw it split up into different sections, and I liked the way they did that, i havn't seen something like that in a while
I liked the movie alot, good acting and great special effects
i didn't get the comic book feel with the wipe and matte transitions. they didn't execute that right if that was the intention. could have been better designed. maybe the intention, i can only imagine, was to give a cheezy retro tv feel???:) again, it was a fun movie. just not one you have to think your way through.
Fell asleep during the first 6 hours, the last 5 or so hours when there was action were decent. All in all I was quite bored, especially in the slow moving (and long) beginning, which set up my very dazed and sleepy mood for the fast action at the end.
If you're a Hulk fan, I guess you'd enjoy it, was just too long for me.

I'm going to see it tonight. I hope its good, i'm usually pretty easy going when it comes to movies.
