Sorry if my arse doesn't have the same sophisticated taste yours does; give me a comfy couch over a plastic chair anyday!
it's all about what you like man. if you like it, you like it. if not, then that's cool too dude.
True; not trying to knock them, just the first thing that pops into my head when I see them is Spaceballs...Quote:

man they bring back some memories, I use to have a white hanging sphere chair ( a left over from my parents first house) in my bedroom as a kid... boy i loved it, right upto they day that it died a most gruesome death...
I donated it to a wacky cart race as the main seating pod... didn't win but it looked cool (came 8th out of 12 carts that raced)
lol. and the first thing that pops in my head about Space Balls is when they're combing the desert, and the two black dudes with the afro pick.
Isn't the same guy who played Tuvok on Voyager?Quote:

omfg. It is him!
HAHAH!
Would look more stylish with black outside, brown inside. White and brown dont really mix. Nice add nontheless.
I'm never going to be able to watch that show again now without hearing him say in the restrainted vulcan-style 'Captain, it appears as if we ain't found sh*t.'Quote:

That's Michael Winslow from Police Academy, not the guy from Voyager.Quote:
I know, but the guy in the desert who says that line is Tim Russ.
I didn't use his picture because his helmet is black, and Swampy had to go and get the white chairs...
I could care less about your arse.Quote:

I think that might be the idea feller. They were designed in 1967, the world was space mad in those days.Quote:

I love all that classic modern design stuff.
sorry, "space helmet" stuff, to give it it's proper name.
hey dude... how much did those chairs hit you up for?
feel free to PM me that information. and btw, is this the two things you bought, and wanted to send me one of? if so... SEND IT! ;)
Your logic is sound, but I'd still reserve my right to make comment on someone else's taste.Quote:

Those chairs are cool enough, a true conversation piece (especially thirty years later) but I can't see them being comfortable enough for a full (American) football game, for example.
They're really pushing the boundary between furniture and decoration.
