I actually thought the first one was pretty good. Looking forward to it.
Same here. The Bourne Identity is one of my favorite films. Not too heavy, but wildly enjoyable.Quote:

the world premeire for 'Supremecy' was here in Oklahoma City. Its a shame I didn't get to go last week.
I'm looking forward to the new one though.
I loved the car chase in the coopers.
DigitalOne, I couldn''t have said it better.... well mabey a bit....

wow, looks pretty good. except one little thing. if he starts to drive like that in Moscow for real he will get his lower back kicked in no time. I am looking forward to see how they did the whole thing. The first movie was pretty good.
I fear for this, if I'm correct in my assupmtion that this is not based on a book penned by Robert Ludlum.
I mean, look at the tag line - 'They should have left him alone' - didn't he get to be left alone at the end of the last movie when the guy that was hell bent on tracking him down got killed?
I hope it's as good as the first one, which was excellent, my favorite type of movie (like Ronin, Patriot Games, serious, joke-free espionage) but it could well be just another Matrix-style second-time-around just to stir up some more cash.
I very much hope not.
Hmm, just watched the trailer.
'... I'll bring this fight to your doorstep."
Unless that's a trailer edit, when he says that, he's on their doorstep.
My 2 roomates saw it last night at the midnight showing and they thought it was awesome. I'm seeing it tomorrow, I can't wait.

I want to see that, The Village, and The Manchurian Candidate. All three look great.
I've read both books "The Bourne Identity" and "The Bourne Supremacy" and seen the movies and niether movie are like the book. The main character, Jason Bourne, is the same, but the back story and locations and even the main story aren't the same. But as a movie it's entertaining and action packed.Quote:

The tag line, "they should have left him alone" goes with the CIA is back after him for some reason, not everyone involved in (was it Topstone or Tombstone, I can't remember)was killed.
It kind of follows the Book in that someone from the CIA goes back after Jason Bourne to get him to do another mission for them. But it's pretty complex to tell since they aren't the same, in the Book he's in Hong Kong, and before he went their he was 'retired' working as a Professor.
I hear that someone is assasinating people and framing him, or something like that.
I wish it was called Bourne Identity 2.
Hahaha. However, I like it when sequals think of creative ideas for the titles instead of putting just a number 2 or such after it.Quote:

Hell, I read the Bourne Identity and thought that there were no others in the series.Quote:

Live and learn.
:)
Though I saw more similarities between the book and the first film than this.
Did anyone know there was a third book?
The Bourne Ultimatum.
Saw it when I went to Barnes & Noble tonight.
I saw it when I Googled for the Bourne Supremacy, but I thought I'd leave it for you to announce, Virgo.
Job well done.
;)
Sorry, no witty responses here.
Move along.
