Here I am... rock you like a hurricane...
:mulletrock:
do you actually spell it charley? ... I thought everyone by now has reverted to the modernized charlie.
i spell it charlie..everyone else is just stupid..
I don't get how you can be called 'hurricane' if your name is neither hurricane or you have never attended Miami University.
Getting caught up in one only entitles you to one name.
Bugsplat.
don't make me slap u i'm havin fun
heh look at that. I just got back from the Cayman Islands yesterday. Looks like Charley would have nailed me right on the head.
I was under the impression you slapped people for fun.Quote:

first of all, neither of these kids are hurricanes...
second of all.....er, um...well that's all i got...
Some people would have preferred that the hurricane be named Clyde instead.
Wait a minute.. Is that one of the new politically correct hurricaines?? I knew women were steamed that only feminine names were being used for storms.. Wow!
(although the system has probably been in place for years, I'm slow and never noticed before )
Every other one is a boy. They switch it up.Quote:

they also reuse the list every 6 or 7 years.
i remember hurricane bonnie from my first year down here in SC (1997).
of course, if you're a total badass, they retire your name (hugo, floyd, andrew, etc).
well this afternoon i am off to home depot.. looks like bonnie is taking a more western track due to the jetstream..won't see much of it..but charlie is only 5 miles away from cat 1 hurricane..

as a fellow coast dweller, i feel for you.
hopefully the storm surge and tornados will stay away.
