there's no absolute proven method to securing your swf online. Basically if someone wants it they're gonna get it.

if you can view it, chances are you can steal it in one way or another (unless youve got it server-sided...)
technically, if you can view your files no matter what computer you're on, so can others
even if you make it 100% server sided, with only video (returning) and key actions(being sent) pouring across the net (thats far too server sided), someone can still copy whatever little is client-sided, and put their logo on it
oddly enough, you seem to fit exactly in with the stereotypical rpg-poster, i almost thought some moderator had created this account (and thread) just to see our responses

Man, don't worry about stuff getting stolen. Any publicity is good publicity, especially in the flash game world. Just load it with a link to your site and maybe some contact info. Let them know who did the work and use the "stealing" for you instead of against.
Oh, and if you want to stop some people just include code in your game that references a text file on your server. In the text file you put a little password and when the game finds that password it starts running. If it doesn't, it can either stop, freeze or just put a little advertisement or watermark in front of the gameplay.
I haven't loaded text stuff in a while. The code is something like LoadVars() right?? Anyone know it off the top of their head?
umm, i dont want to get into a massive debate about this but people who decompile will just remove that loadVars statement.
You can't put security within ActionScript, unless you hide it well and make the buggers search long and hard for it
like i said, its quite impossible to make it %100 resistant; if it can be played on one site, it most definately can be played under another url, no matter how secure
i mean, they could just take feedback from YOUR site after it responds to THEIR user input (think of them as a middle-man)

i dont think anyones going to try to steal your game "helpmeplz", its just not all that fun, unless they can make money off of it (which would mean you were making money off of it, and therefore able to afford a very decent security system)
i also dont think renderhj will post any more obscene material that is any more obscene (besides, considering all the cameras in that picture, one can assume there are more pictures of the same event floating around on the web)
