From some of the "ProxyMaster" talk, it sounds like they use a zombie PC network to spoof eDonkey servers. If someone sends those emails to a smart lawyer, at least this one company will be history.

It's too funny.

I haven't seen any SSN's, but I'm thinking that the company is liable for that ineptitude. Either the people who now have their personal data all over the internet will have a huge check at the end of this month as compensation, or they'll sue MD. Is there any laws/restrictions for companies managing sensitive information about their employees? I mean, having a list of social security numbers and salaries is usually controlled, and should have been treated only by human resources, and never ever forwarded to a gmail account.


I'm glad about this. I bet big companies spend more money trying to fight piracy than what they claim they lose because of it. They should realize they cannot continue being greedy and play by the same rules as 50 years ago.
