Game Challenge #7: Final Entries

48 hours have passed....

and the 7th game challenge has ended. :)
To those who didn't participate, the challenge was to make a game within
48 hours that is set in/on a human brain and included microorganisms.

I would also like to submit a F9 version of my entry to avoid the general nuisance of making others fetch the F10 player.

The only reason F10 is required is that Vector.<> has become habitual for me and is spread all throughout the code. I won't change anything else (I don't even want to, I'm very happy with the way it plays now).

Would this be ok?

I think the 1st level of my game is a bit difficult, can I make just some adjustments for it to be easier? Just change some variables. If not, it's ok.

It was developed in Flex so don't expect it to run out of the box. If there are any external classes missing let me know ( Although I think it will just be the alcon debugger class ).

Wow totally missed this one. Sorry boys, avoided the pc this weekend, work during the week put me off. Looks like a great turn out and ran really well. From what I've seen so far the games are all great. Is there an honorary mention category, because feel bad not voting for someone when its all very close. Great work guys. Hope this comp keeps going.

For every category it's a really hard choice to make. Very consistent quality! Glad that I got the week off this week, so I've got some time to look through the source files and learn a bit or two.

I think all were great entries. Great job to everyone!! :thumbsup:

Some short comments on the games:
-Squize: very fun game, simple yet addictive. I liked the power-up to destroy the enemies :P
-TOdorus: awesome game and very creative! I enjoyed a lot playing it. I couldn't pass it though :( I only got like 7 cells. Liked the story too :)
-Mentuat: loved the game! it's a highly original idea wrapped up into a great presentation.
-Rachil0: quite fun game. Definitely had a good time playing it. It was very well planned. I liked that the enemies got destroyed as you covered each area.
-Renderhjs: what to say? Sweeet game!! really visual appealing. I liked the colors you used. Haven't took a look at the code yet but I'm shure it's just neat. Really impressive.
-691175002: great shooter! I liked the fact that it didn't shoot bullet's but it was a ray instead. I haven't read your code either but I can smeel some good actionscript behind it. Very fun game!
-Captain_404: at first I didn't quite understand it, but after some plays I figured out it has a very good concept. I just felt it was a bit hard as the opponent can move all of its players at once and I can't, so I couldn't win, but maybe I'm missing something. It's a great game and I think you can go further and add some stuff (like a menu and those things) cus it was very good.
