It's kinda cool that I happen to move out here so close to a historic event but sucks at the same time because I have no intention of getting anywhere close to that area. I know every precaution is being made but my gut tells me there will be a lot of alarming news that day.

It won't happen. Greed is too rampant and shortens people's sight to only their pocket and their own avarice. Pelosi, she's in the way. The GOP, they're already in the way. And people in America... if I hear "...it's an Obama-nation..." one more damn time, which is a play on "abomination" then honestly the US is seriously screwed.
I sorta wish that things get very bad to shock people into values that once made sense... use only what you need, buy what you can afford, and work for what makes sense.
Then restructure lending and other major industries/government (lessen, not make bigger), resume textile, among other things that need to happen from the bottom up.
Meh. As an American, my hope isn't in our president. It's in the people. And basically, I've lost the hope in them.
And before it's attacked... I don't mind being wrong. I'll be doing my part. Other than critique and idiocy, I hope that others will play their part.

As far as losing faith in Americans... look, they're the only Americans we've got. I know it's tough when you see what we see but we really have to remain positive. Good vibes are infectious.
