Hey guys, a friend of ours son was recently diagnosed with cancer. He has a site up at http://www.caringbridge.com/co/jacobtylercohen/
The ONLY reason I am posting this here is because of the cool people I have met thru this forum. If your touched by this cool...if not...thats ok too. Just wanted to let people know about it.
Count your blessings and when you feel something is difficult to learn ( ie FLASH ) .... well, you get the point.

Thats great that hes home and doing ok, My grandmother had to do a 4 rounds of chemo and its not a nice thing to go through. There are people out there who give a damn. I hope he pulls through after it all.
All the best to him and you. I hope he gets well soon, I feel for him and his family.
it's good to see jake is home and doing okay. it's good that he is recovering, maybe you would be interested in a group at flashkit that are using their computers to participate in the possibility to find a cure to cancer. there is a link in my footer for more information if you are interested :) and mark thanx for signing up and the mention on the front page :D

Yeah, he is doing as good as can be expected. Its a tough thing to beat but we are all pulling for him. Thanks for keeping this thread alive. I am forwarding it to his Dad so I am sure it means alot to him to read all the warm regards from people around the world.
lots of people have pulled through cancer, so hopefully jake will be alright. If anyone wants to use their spare CPU resources to contrubite to the possibility of a cure for cancer, with very little effort join team flashkit! click here

My prayers are with you guys, I lost a friends mother to cancer, but then a woman I work with just made a full recovery after chemo. So don't lose hope!

Hey, guys....just wanted to give you an update. The link to his site is at the top. He is in round 2 of chemo and all is going as good as can be expected. Thanks to all who have prayed for this little guy.

poor little guy is having a tough time. pray for him and count your own blessings. I was tired today and complained about having to go do work...what a joke that was.

send him my love, i just recently lost a cousin to cancer, he went through 3 courses of chemo and one of radiotherapy, after each he was told he was completely clear... untill he died, everyone sign up for the cancer thing, every little helps

We got some Really good news Today!! Jakes scan were great! The Tumor in his neck & Lungs are gone.. The tumor in is belly has shrunk by 50 % again.. The Bone scans and The Skull are all Clean.. (Praise the Lord!!) We are now set to have surgery on Nov 16th.. They will hopefully remove the last tumor and His left Kidney.. hopefully the Pathology on the Tumor shows that it is dead.. we are very pleased and Grateful for these test results.. We now have 8 days of Family time before we have to go back to Clinic..
Please continue to keep our Little Jake and all of the other children in your prayers , They are working..

Today is +332 !! Jake is doing Great.. We had a very Nice Family weekend.. Next weekend Gage and his Family are comming out from Nebraska.. Should Be alot of Fun.. We are going to a Xmas Party and To The North Pole !!
Today the Local Radio station in town (KOA) did another story on Jake.. It will Air Next Friday Dec 13th @ 6:35 am and again @ 8:35 am... We will have a copy to E-Mail anyone who wants to hear it... Happy Holidays to all..
