Got a new riddle from a friend - A NEW RIDDLE SESSION !!!

Well, after a long time, a friend just sent me a nice riddle.
I didn't solve it yet, I just got it...

There are 7 men and each man has a dog. they're all on the same island and need to get to the other island. There is one boat which can hold up to 3 beings. Every man knows how to sail, but only one dog knows. The dogs between themselves get along just fine. But, if a dog is left with men, and without his own master, he will go wild and eat them!

How do you cross all the men and dogs to the other island?

I remember this riddle from grade 3, except with a wolf and a sheep...or something like that. :)

Okay...now some of you guys are saying that you've heard of this before, but with different animals -- that's a bit different. It involved a man, a chicken, and a fox (or some other carnivore).

for this riddle....lemme think about it.

this is VERY easy to figure out.

Just let the dog that sails take everyone and their dog to the second island.

this is an easy riddle unless mastershin got some of the detail wrong or something. He's been known to do that in the past :p

The way that I read the riddle allows for the sailor dog to take a man to the island and he won't attack. It says that if a dog is LEFT with a man..it will eat him.

OK, I'm sorry for beening known to frop details - it's just that I'm translating from hebrew and froget them...

If a dog is without his master and someone else, he'll eat him.

I figured it out! its so simple let the dogs eat the men! :D

Heheh i got two lateral thinkers here, ya might know em or maybe not.

Ok a man lives on the 22nd floor of his apartment block.

Every day he goes down in the elevator to go to work.

If it rained in the morning then when he comes home he takes the elevator all the way to the 22nd floor to get home.

If it didnt rain in the morning, he takes the elevator to the 11th floor, and then goes the rest of the way up the stairs.

Why?

i assume that a dog without his master won't eat a man if the dog is getting out of the boat while the man is getting in.

While we still on this topic, does anyone know how that riddle was worked out in Die Hard 3, where they had to get the amount of water right, so that the bomb wouldn't blow?

I just asked my friend of the riddle about the answer which looked perfect to me - and he said it's wrong. When dogs 1 2 4 go down and man 3 up they'll bite him...

I told him he's lying... But he looked to serious for to be a lie... Sorry Mac8mypc
