The first time i saw 3D in flash, I also wanted to do it.
BUT I've always been searching for the right
application to do it, finally I found it:

This looks promising... But does anyone know how it will compare to Vecta3D when the stand alone is released?

oh man, i have no idea who pope the flash is, but his rendition of that song is just odd.
I won swift 3d in an animation contest, but only used it a couple of times. I wonder where that software is now :P

I used to use Swift 3D all the f-f-freakin' time.

Loved it, but there were some limitations in rendering shapes.
Still, better than most similar-type 'wares.
Yeah PdeF was evidently some kind of Flash hero - though I still haven't figured out why.
More myth than legend.

I'd say atRax's example is better. Instances load up, the books tilt and move, and the pages flex. Not just a corner like the other example; but it does flip from the middle only.
Other than that, I like the second one better.
I find that this is what really excites me...
It has no shadowing, no transparent pages, it flickers, no tearing feature ... I like the first one much better.

opensource, made back in 2005. That demo you showed looks to me like a rip off of the original, a good one, but still not original. Page flip effect in flash has been around like forever, and ipagraphika just made the best version.
Just shows how long I'm out of the Flash loop. :p
