Maybe my chosen words for a description were not something you liked, but regardless I've taken the liberty of listing all company sites created for themselves that you have featured for site of the day. Please spare me that you will not accept my site because of its content while you accept others of similar nature.

And looking in the rules for submission:
- All work must be original (no plagiarized images, text, or other content).
- Designers/Developers used at least one Macromedia product to create the site.
- The site functions in most browsers (recent versions of IE and Netscape) and on both Mac OS and Windows.
- The site should be distinctive. This can mean interesting or unusual content, a particularly beautiful piece of design, exquisite technological engineering—or something that just makes us laugh out loud or knocks our socks off.
- No pornography.
There is nothing written of portfolio sites not being accepted. It is my understanding that as long as a site makes use of a macromedia product, it is eligible for the site of the day no matter the type of site. If it is the case that you shy away from portfolio sites then I suggest that it be listed as a rule for submissions instead of people submitting their "portfolio" sites and not gaining any recogition.
