Anyone want anymore? :D
LOL CVO! :D
i saw a black bear while trekking once, there were seven of us and the bear loped off in another direction when he saw us. If i had been alone i'm sure my reaction would have been more than 'oh look isn't it cute'
:)
anybody remember the news story of in russia of an escaped circus bear.
A bear escaped and the could not find it. Later that week the bear knocked a man off his bicycle and rode away. They believe the bear got hungry and the bear remembered, from his circus training, that he would get a treat for riding a bicycle.
lol, I read this topic as "Seen a Beer"...
Ugh, I should learn how to read...
I told ya to be aware of the bears after you told me you hitting the mountains.
oh well, guess nobody listens to Baron von Berg anymore like back in the days...
;)
I still listen to ya ;)Quote:

They like bird feeders too, thats what this little black bear was after on the railing of my parent's deck last year. (pic taken through the patio doors, about 8' away) note the deck is on the 2nd floor, so it's about 15' to the ground from the railing he's on.
LOL!!Quote:

KLTdesigns5869, that bear is cute, but uh, dude, it's still a bear. looks awfully small though, can't be fullgrown can it?
bears hang out on your parents deck??? where do they live so i know not to move there, ever lol
They live in northern Wisconsin, and yes this one is quite small, although it's not a cub.Quote:

This is fairly uncommon as far as bears go, they tend to stay away from civilization, and to see one in the wild should be considered a rare treat. They are not normally aggressive (especially black bears) towards people, unless a mother senses danger to one of her cubs, then look out...but otherwise they will typically run off as with aversion's experience.
My parents have had a few encounters with them in the past few years, the pic above was taken last year, but this year, my mom did chase one out of their driveway. They also now take their bird feeders inside every night, or the bears will come around to destroy them. As with any animal, if they are hungry, they will go wherever they might find food.
That's really wierd. Since my neighboors dog was snatched by a coyote yesterday. We manged to get the dog back. But this was broad daylight!
An oman, I think so ;)
puwhahahahahaha @ CVO
nope guys... no laptop. I used my parents e-mail account at their house before I made the trek back home - well, I haven't made it home yet! - and had to send out some e-mails for work
yep, made it to the mountains. now... it's back to hot, muggy coastline life.
some people never answer their phones. :p
yeah, I listen Baron Von Berg... but you don't say anything worth listening to. fetter wichser.
