Get a cat...
Some people leave the rat some cola drink in a saucer for the rodent to lap up - they can't belch, so they explode.
:D
Harper's Borax.....The stuff I use to wash my hair, do my dishes, clean my clothes :) It's a drain cleaner ;) Gets rid of rats/mice as well.
buy a flute, blow in it, and skip to the river....

Go to bed and have a nice dream till you are awaken by <snap>.

get a big ol' rat trap, wrap a bit of fuse wire a couple of times round the trigger, twist the ends, and smear it with crunchy peanut butter.
They just can't resist and no matter how careful they are, they get their teeth caught in the fuse wire and trigger the trap trying to detach themselves.
Or borrow a little dog for a day or two.....

'Danny' ......best rodent dog I ever met.

Eeeeeww.
I caught two mice in my apartment the other day and I thought I had problems. If I see a rat I'm going to freak out. I hate those things.

thanx guys it seems to be that the little bastard is gone..
the only consequence i have to deal with is... that there's
talcum powder and milka choc all around...bit messy..bleugh!
i'll think about using a trap next time.. save me alot of
troubles..
you hate rats?
i used to have to work on the underground! lovely.
btw, not all snap traps work though... we had a prob with rats and no b.s. a rat ran across our garden with the trap caught round its neck... they were super rats eating kryptonite for breakfast or something i dunno...
we eventually put down poison but the rats were still about... we called in rentokil and they said that normal rat poison doesnt work in our area (southend) because rats have become invulnerable to it... ie they have eaten so much of the stuff it doesnt kill them anymore...
rentokil put down stronger poison (which stank) that killed some of them, but then the rats would eat the bodies and keep on breeding... eventually we had enough... filled the holes with unleaded fuel and lit a match... a loud bang later and quite a lot of smoke we had solved our rat problem... we then had to pump the tunnels with cement as they had tunneled all under our house etc...
pesky things.
although personally i like rats :)
our natural waste disposal units :) plus they are just cool :)
btw...
onion fact#173 : pidgeons carry more disease than rats.
get a baseball bat and smash it!
i just found out this is norway rat aka sewer rat
they are hard to deal with.. a real pain in the ass..
the smurf enter homes through toilet pipes..nasty eh..
i'm not feeling comfortable on the porcelain no more...
i have to think of something..i'll let you know!
for next time you could buy yourself a medium sized python and grow it up and next time you just let it out for a night, clean up the blood spatter and put the snake back in its cage
the sewer rat you describe... just some details...
they can swim in water for 75 mins, can also enter houses etc through the pipework... mostly the toilet...
they can see in the dark with ultrasonic (same as bats) and can jump 6ft from standing. they can also withstand high electricity current and bite through sheet steel... they can also eat through conrete, brick etc... and can consume anything organic... including their own.
now thats an efficient animal ! :D:D
