OMFG! they got a show, a poorly dubbed Japanese gameshow where these people do the MOST CRAZY STUNTS on the planet... oh mang.
and it's super poorly dubbed.... my god. They're riding miniature bikes on a small course, or trying to go over these huge rollers and falling all over the place.

hahah, I've been watching this for a couple of weeks - its great! I think that they intentionally dubbed it wrong to make it funny - but its hilarious!

Seen that show a couple times now. Pure comedic GOLD!
My favorite so far has been the one where they have to jump across the water over rocks....only some of the rocks are just floating pads. People get messed up on that one.

Very nice gerbs, glad I checked it out. The dubbing was hilarious, as were people taking spills on those spinning logs and the little tricycles. I got a good chuckle out of the commentary as well. :)

I don't get TNN but talking about bad dubbing reminded me of this film.

Yeah, I watch Takeshi's Castle on the Comedy Channel down here in the good ol' AUofS.
yeh we got Takeshi's Castle here in UK too... i got bored of it though pretty quick.... maybe because of the bad voiceovers on it...

Apparently they can't rename it to Spike TV anymore because Spike Lee, or someone like that sued them saying it'd wreck his 'image' and he won the case. I guess they'll have to settle for TNN for now. The Nashville Network. LOL better change the name to something else!

I love this show. When I was in junior high, my band teacher used to bring these tapes of these Japanese game shows like this one,(could be same one, not sure) to school occasionally for us to watch. It wasnt dubbed over, of course, because, they were recorded in Japan, by a friend of his. I always loved when we got to watch them. My favorite, was the bowling one. They had people dressed in bowling pin suits at the bottom of a hill, and a person at the top rolled a large ball down and tried to knock them over.
