far too narrow for the information it has to display.
This site is one of the freshest looking sites I've seen in a long time. Very good use of flash - great transision and navigation. Although the images could have been a bit more relevant to the various sections of the site.
Great find, and a damn good job by Flashlevel.
Flip.
Very nice indeed - great job by FL.
wow, I am impressed!
nice job, subtle textures and a confident layout. The button transitions are great, nice and liquid, dash is really good at that stuff.
not so keen on the content area, the header seems kinda unnecessarily large, but it still looks good.
I think it would look nicer if it was wider but I don't think it's 'far too narrow' for the content.
Good work with the transitions, nice color palette, sharp look, corporate but high end at a time. What else can you expect from FL.
Two thumbs up!!!
(esta enpingao el site!)

Oooohh... very nice
I just can't understand how these designers make cool sites like this one!!
I think I have no imagination hahaha!
hmm bring tears to my eyes.
dash and masa are good.
This site is like a baby being born.
wahahha
Neat. Pro Business site. Smooth.
Too narrow?
Was too wide for my narrow mind...but I was looking at it through my neighbours letterbox.
How the hell did they do that image transition?!
Very cool buttons and image transitions.
60+ FPS, my friends :) .
The human eye (& I presume we all using that...) see's little past 25 FPS..it's all in your mind....but if it makes yo happy....
Oh, how wrong you are Lambretta. Oh how wrong you are :D
As an avid gamer, I can pretty much detect framerates within 5 FPS up to around 75. You CANNOT tell me that 60 and 30 look the same.
Here're some boxes I posted a lil' while ago for some folks over at the IGN boards:
www.webfeatsdesign.com/30.swf
www.webfeatsdesign.com/60.swf
"60.swf" is, as the name implies, 60 FPS, while "30.swf" is 30 FPS.
If you can't see the increased "smoothness" in 60.swf, I greaty pity you :) .
yeah, sometimes I use up to two thousand fps for my work. I'm just really good like that.
i liked the transitions, i thought overall is was alil too compact and should of been more room to display the content. I had to use Fullscreen mode in explorer to actual see that there was a scrollbox filled with content at the bottom.
Accually the eye can see up to or over 200 fpsQuote:

The transitions are wonderful, and i've always thought FL did awesome work. However, I agree with Dan - why not make more use of the content area? The header is too big, and the content area too narrow (for my tastes).
But again, the animations are amazing, and it's overall - a nice site.
content area seems a bit small, but aside from that a really nice site... wish it was all flash just so i could see more pretty transitions:)
Thanks for pointing those things out people, we have just fixed the content area to be slightly bigger. (height)
Thanks for all comments.

Very nice. Love the nav effects. FL are good. :)
Im in love with those nav effects, soooo good!
Hmmm... sat here, browsed a few other threads, and... it's still loading. Refreshed the page, still loading. T3 connection.... not sure what more I can do.
Loved the button effects
well if FL ever views this thread, you might wanna check into why the site in the Safari browser doesn't want to load the flash movie. Worked fine in IE. Never had a problem like that in Safari.
Tight transitions and buttons.
transitions are amazing, I love the site. Looks little narrowm but nothing that hasn't been said before. it's a smooth site, and not too choppy. Im feeling the style. it's clean.
Gotta say the concept is bad-azz and thats awesome use of shine :D
flashlevel just continues to impress me, great work!
Wow! These transitions are wicked cool! How did they do it? Does anyone have a FLA or TUT? I need something different like this for a new site I'm doing. Is it After Effects or what?
probably imported images from photoshop.
You could try e-mailing the designer.
these guys too?!
how in the hell can i make the buttons not play the Over animation after i click it?! are they using a movieclip with AS instead of a button?!
anyway the site pleases me, i agree with the opinion that the site is too narrow to suit all the information but the animation in the buttons navigation is so amazing it makes me forget all the rest is that made only in flash or do you think it has a little photoshop work?:p
it's imported bitmap animation. To me It looks like Combustion. After Effects could be used but these animations look like Combustion from my trained eyeQuote:

everybody uses photoshop :p but maybe not here...
i only asked that because i think i could do that with flash only...
maybe the basic animation... theres no way you could make it look that good with just flash though.Quote:

wanna bet ?:D
Are you sure this is not actionscipt? It would take so long to load all these image sequences.
BTW. I am working on a Tattoo shop chain site with over 500 images. Does anyone have any new ideas, FLA or TUT on a new image transition system? I am running out of ideas. I would be willing to credit you on the site - it is going to be big and advertised in the SouthEast United States.
Thanks in advance.
there would be probably 20-30 images in the sequence I imagine, they're all small and reused multiple times, it wouldn't add that much.
do you think that it can only be done in photoshop:confused: i meen look at it, can't it be done only using vectors, shape tweens, transparencies...
i'm not saying everyone can do it and it's not awesome don't think i'm trying to say that it's easy and flashlevel didn't do a great job putting it togheter but i think it can be done just in flash maybe it takes even more time that in photoshop but it can be done.
maybe flashlevel can clear this up, or at least how they do it.
clean and crisp like it :smoov:
any1 check in netscape 4.7? looks fubar
