hehe ... lost in the qualifiers (at home) against Partizan on penalites, not too clever eh Mr Pinder ;)
In other news, ManUtd scrape a win and Arsenal crush puny Aston Villa to go back to the top of the league :)

I'd think about having a giggle about this, but Liverpool have not exactly had a great start to the season.
Liverpoo are at about their natural level after a few seasons over achieving ;)
They don't half play some dire football all the time!
Houllier has lost the plot.
He's like the king with no clothes. Everyone's laughing, but no one wants to tell him that the joke's on him.
Seriously - that Emil Heskey is still on the payroll is a travesty, pure and simple.
Bah we aint puny - just not having the best start to the season :(
It's perhaps not so bad that he's on the Liverpoo payroll, bit still an England international?! You're having a larf Mr Sven!Quote:

I really don't see Liverpool doing any better than last season to be honest. I think it's a good indicator of the club ambition that tonight Steven Gerrard suggested getting Champions League football would be good for the club, I mean with the money available to Liverpool they should be competing for the league and at least one other trophy every season but Houllier has filled the team with absolute toss, Cheyrou, Diouf, Diao, Biscan, Heskey, Traore etc etc. Lots of money spent very unwisely imo :p
Houllier is an absolute loony, he gets one of the most naturally gifted left footed players and plays him where....yup just where a heavily one footed left midfielder should play....on the right
+ along with Sven, I think GH is the only man on planet Earth that thinks Heskey isn't a big useless non scoring donkey.
I can't stand Houllier, even from his French national team days i think he's a git, the way he treated Ginola was disgusting.
Anyway enough bout the scousers
COME ON YOU SPUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURS :D
la la la ... super Sol ...

We are top of the league ... how are Spuds doing anyway?
Hey, Spocky - I was chatting with some fellas down the bar the other night about Diego going to Spurs and they said, no lie, that if he's going to England, he should at least try and sign a deal with a decent team.
Even in Brazil, they like to have a larf about the Tottenham.
:D
haha !! They're right to laugh, just think, if Diego signed he could team up with the awesome Bobby Zamora :pQuote:

I think the Diego deal is looking like another Spurs "nearly signing" just like when Rivaldo nearly signed :p
Yeah, and that Morientes 'sure to go through' deal.
:D
re: Rivaldo - do you remember a while back, saying that he was desperate to go and play for Liverpool, saying that it was the English club he really wanted to play for...
AND THE IDIOTS TURNED HIM DOWN!!!
Who are these fools running my club into the ground.
I hope someone does a Joan of Arc on Houllier - it's nothing less than he deserves.
Ok thats enough!! :(
Look lads, it's a sensitive Norf Landanaar.Quote:

Howz about them Hammers!! Down in the Nationwide, scumming around with the likes of Derby, Coventry, Watford and the other not-ready-for-primetime players.
:D
And about the primetime - Wolves for the insta-drop.
Who's with me???
cheeky buggers!
Its mr diego's loss. Was all set to sign, we agreed a deal with them but the lad can't get a passport, and unlike those cheating sods down the road we don't do dodgy passports....cough..Silvinho ;)
Bobby Z will be class..he's already got the best song. I'm quite confident he'll prove a better signing than that big bald useless muppet Cygan!
I can't wait until Teddy's Revenge, as he comes back with Pompey to lead a Spurs humiliation.
Maybe another hatrick?
In Glenn's nightmare's maybe.
:D
looks like Newcastle are going down with Spurs ;) :p
Any season where Liverpool beat the Toffees 3-0 is a good season.
And when did Mendieta start playing for 'boro? Does he really not want to play for Spain that badly?
hehe ... it actually wasn't too bad a game considering Liverbore were playing! 3-0 was a bit flattering though I thought.Quote:

As for Mendieta, yeah, he joined boro the other week, it's amazing the calibre of player you can get on loan these days! Stephane Dalmat has just joined Spurs on loan from Inter Milan today, he's a good midfielder. I reckon Mendieta will rediscover the form he had when he was at Valencia and will be great this season.
Yeah it great to see West Scum down in 1.Quote:

Means I can actually walk round Basildon in a Villa shirt and not be mistaken for a gimp :D
And its great fun to go *cough*Division1*cough* at every West Ham fan in town :D
No mistaking a fan of a team hell-bent on compulsive under-acheivement now, eh?.Quote:

and S'hmpton shock Younited 1-0.
United for the insta-drop. Who's with me??
And in case anyone cares, ESPN, my live game source, seems to have switched from showing Spanish to Italian league games. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. What's better? Watching Real Madrid or Inter Milan?
And finally - in the Interesting Stats department. This season, top flight Brazilian teams have sold 53 players to teams in various other top divisions around the world. That's equivalent to a quarter of the Premiership selling their whole starting team and some - if a quarter of the Premiership were English, that is.
Seems that with the pathetic prize money that teams are offered in Brazil, they have figured that the only way to make some real money is to become player farms for the rest of the world.
Great for the rest of the world. Sucky for those here, left to watch the dregs of what's left battle it out.
