This is amazing. How can one person be that good. He's still going strong, with 500,000 buckaroos to his credit.

I once won 21 days in a row, but although I called Alex to let him know (and he was quite congratulatory), he told me that because I was playing along at home, it didn't count.
*smacks forehead*
go to the studio, go to the studio, go to the studio
-25 straight!
-$780Grrrr...
- gotta give respect.
wow - they need some tougher competition. It's almost like they are giving hime weak opponents so he keeps winning.
Is there a whiter name than "Ken Jennings" come on...
I was thinking the same thing..Quote:

maybe they will let him get to $1M before they throw any real challengers at him.
Then Alex Trebek will look into the camera and go "Regis is my b****!"
Oh, he did that last year, I believe.Quote:

Hes over 30 wins now and nearing a million dollars
Mormons are smart.....:smoov:
Impressive.
anyone think they might've pulled something like the movie quiz show and rigged it to pull in more viewers.
I mean really, who cared about jeopardy any more, before this event.
very smart, I guess the show limited to 5 games , but that rule has changed.
Its like that guy back in the 80's on the wack a mole show, he studied the show for years and remembered the pattern for the wack a mole to land on.
there were 16 differant combos, he won like 300,000 and was booted from the show, they tried to sue him but never made it
can't remember the show name,
ya know, comon, comon, comon big bucks, big bucks STOP,
then the mole comes down and takes all the money.
I was waiting for HyperSlug to say 'Impressive' before I did.Quote:

You know how those HyperSlugs like to get their shots in first.
Is it still going?? Is he like a zillionaire now, with his favorite line being 'Alex, I own you?'

I still say its rigged. Nobody gave a damn about jeopardy and now its all over the head lines.
$1 million and he's still a virgin.
But is he any good at FK Jeopardy?
They had to let someone win US$1 million to compete with the big prize shows, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, etc.
He's married. I would hope not.Quote:

I watched the episode where he won for the 28th time the other day. This guy if frickin amazing, and destroys the competition. He probably answered 95% of the questions on the board. I guess he also has a quick trigger finger.
I've also been thinking about Quiz Show, and how this could all be a farce. I mean, it seems a little strange that only last fall Jeopardy announces that a winner can play until he is beaten...and now all of a sudden we have a Jeopardy superstar who can't lose, and he's all over the news, generating buzz for the show.
If he's for real though I don't see this guy losing anytime soon. I wonder what would happen if he just kept going and going and going. It would become his job I guess. The little podium would be his office.
they have to draw the line at some point, like hire a super genious to dethrone him, then lose on purpose, eventually people will get bored because they already know the outcome.
I feel bad for this guy. I mean people can go on who wants to be a millionaire and answer questions like:
"When Michael was 8 years old, he learned how to ride his bike on the sidewalk without training wheels. WHERE did he ride?"
A. On the sidewalk
B. Fido
C. What was the question?
D. Regis do you really think I am an idiot?

Meanwhile Ken Jennings is tearing up every single game.
I don't think it's rigged, it's just the logical outcome of the rule change; I'd be willing to bet that most of the past 5-day champions could have had a similar streak had they not been cut off.
What I'd like to see is them call back some of the 5-day champs to go head-to-head with this guy. Then we'd see if it's all a fix.
