anyone know how they made the picture scrolling look 3d?
Putting the foreground on a separate layer from the background. The two layers have different lengths. Shifting the two layers side to side makes it look 3D. In this site, I think most scenes actually have 3 different layers.Quote:

all I know is that they are from utah,.....the movie is only opening in utah also, they are hoping that it will go nationally.

I think those background scrolling images is not 1 cut apart scene that has been placed on different layers but actually a whole bunch of scenes cut up and placed onto a plain background image then set up in flash for a parallax(s?) veiw.
If you watch the trailer you can see most of the scenes they use.
