Seems a bit overkill for a mouse.
Nice. I would have bought a laser mouse if they sold a bluetooth version by itself, but they only sell it bundled with the bluetooth keyboard, so I just bought the MX900.
I like the fact that the battery meter is on the mouse itself
I'm looking at a new mouse... I got a bargain basment £3 laser mouse a while back and its just not responsive enough... I've been looking at those 2k dpi wired mice from logitech... I need to go feel some first though... I like a larger mouse :)
I like the battery indicator bit -- nothing is more annoying than a dead mouse in the middle of PhotoShop/Firefox/Thunderbird/Dreamweaver/SQL.
Why don't you just come out and say you're having trouble accepting the fact that your mouse is gay?
How is it gay? It is not exactly pink or bent in any way....
No, MarkP's gay-disco mouse.
Hahaha... I opened the mouse up... snipped out two of the pulsating disco lights and stuck it back together... it now has a faint pinkish hue due to the laser light :D
Its less gay than it was anyway ;)
I bought a Microsoft wireless optical mouse about 3 months ago. There was some tripe in the book about the batteries lasting longer.
Just remembered, I haven't had to change batteries yet. The book said something about 6 months between changes. We'll see.
It's pretty nice, not too heavy, shaped right, and the wheel tilts to scroll side to side. And it works. Like the long battery life tho.
hahaha -- that mark's gay mouse! :D
that looks purdy fancy thar.
since the onset of CTS.. i've had to switch to the trackball, which i like way better than a regular mouse, but i wish logitech would make a bluetooth trackball mouse.. i'm sick of plugging in the lame USB dongle.
This one switches on the fy (buttons on the mouse) from 400 -800 - 2000 dpi. Rock on.Quote:

It's lighter...I had the MX900, and it's significantly heavier than this. The bottom has a nice slick surface for it to slide on too. I am pretty impressed so far.Quote:

I like it but what really bothered me about it was the software that came with it. It wouldn't allow me to customise the button functions per app, which is ok, I could live with that, but if you don't apply a function (one of their functions) to a button, leaving it blank hoping that it will let you keep using it the way the particular app uses it, every time you press that button it pops up a window telling you the button has no assigned function and you should press here to assign it.... grrrrrr!
So I turned off the retarded logitech software.
I have the A4 version (or 9x12 for us US folks) ... use it almost religiously now. Almost as comfortable for me as using the mouse, but definitely takes a bit of getting used to. Great for Photoshop, Painter and Illustrator.Quote:

HAHAHAHA. Great idea for a gag. Put one of those on the secretaries desk and hide the real mouse. :DQuote:
